Works are underway on the development of the Stables car park and rear landscaping 🌱

Many thanks to Two Harvs Contracting Gippsland for getting this underway, and your continued contribution to the stables project.

Immense appreciation to the Allen family of Boisdale and the Wellington Shire Council Planning Dept. for the new rear access road adjacent to the Stables. The Allen family have donated a section of land to the Stables, which was the site of the third stable building that was demolished in the 1970s. It has enabled the rear access road behind the Stables to be relocated away from the side of the building and accomodate off road parking, along with a spacious fenced rear area.

Vale George Heywood who has just passed away.
George was a long time Briagolong resident and friend to many. He was a volunteer at the Boisdale Stables during our renovations and a champion brick cleaner. RIP George.

His funeral will be a graveside service on Thursday 19th December at the Briagolong Cemetery at 2pm followed by afternoon tea at the Briagolong Hall.

Great night at the Stables last night for the Boisdale & District Community Christmas Breakup.
The Gourmet Hamper was won by Paul Chiltern and vouchers were presented to our volunteers who mow all the public areas in the township.

The Progress Assoc. and the Stables sub committee wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a safe and fulfilling 2025.

For all the local community we have the Community Christmas Breakup at the Boisdale Stables this Friday Evening 13th December from 5.30pm.
A Gourmet Hamper will be raffled on the night. Just bring your drinks and some nibbles to share and catch up with neighbours and friends before Christmas.

Our final beautiful wedding of 2024 will take place this weekend, concluding a wonderful year of nuptial celebrations at the Boisdale Stables.

Jake & Jessica 26.10.2024 💍

Jake & Jessica wed on a beautiful October afternoon at the Boisdale Stables surrounded by their friends & family. The space was brilliantly styled by Leanne Chester, Debbie Krusic designed the bespoke arbor florals, and Jessica's Auntie's Alison & Jacqueline created the beautiful bridal flowers. The couple were wed by Caz of Shine Celebrations and the day was captured perfectly by Blossom Photography .

Their reception was catered for by Maffra Spit Roast catering, and Jessica's mum made their gorgeous wedding cake.

Jessica was a picture-perfect bride, wearing a Ferrari Formal gown, her hair styled by Enjaneer of Hair, make up by Liv from Arch Beauty & spray tan by Bronzed Bodies.

"We would love to express how amazing all of you were and how effortless you made our special day and the lead up to it. The stables really catered to everything, and we can't get over how beautiful and stunning the venue is.

All our guests have said how incredible the venue was and how special it made our wedding feel. We will and have already highly recommend the Boisdale stables as it's truly spectacular and made our wedding dream come true."
