Banksy came to visit us for a check up after his Cruciate Repair Surgery. This sweet boy will require Zydax injections for arthritis which are done in weekly, or monthly intervals (depending on your pets status) that will aid his recovery ! He is an eager and energetic dog - where the stand on leash tactic has worked wonders! 💚🤍

Nurse Emily and our beautiful clinic cat Mumma (Molly)! Mumma received this nickname when she was brought into our clinic as a rescue and allowed kittens to snuggle up and suckle, despite not being hers. She has since then become a very large part of our family here at 313Vets 🤍

We want to congratulate Nurse Lucy and award her with April Employee of the Month! ✨

Lucy has been with us at 313Vets for a little while now and each day she impresses us more and more! 😋

Our favourite attributes that Lucy brings to our clinic is her impressive muscle memory with all skills and procedures we have at our clinic! She is very attentive, and provides excellent care and support for all 🤍

Lucy engages with us all, co-workers and clients, brings a smile to our faces and professionalism everyday!

One of our favourite things about Lucy is what we call the ‘Lucy Face’. Lucy is always a team player, and avoids controversy at all times - Instead we see the Lucy Face and know that we may be falling behind our goals. We are blessed this ‘face’ is not always seen, but most of all we enjoy the short and sweet presence of it - giving us all a push to strive towards our best!

MARCH EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!

Heidi joined us in January of 2022 and has been working as a Nurse at our clinic - bringing smiles, professionalism and lots of cuddles for all our clients!

We have a goal at 313Vets - proficiency and independence, Heidi gave us all a laugh when she said that our approach is similar to “Potty Training.”

When we are young, we require assistance and are unaware of what is required - as we get older, we learn how to complete the task ourselves, until it becomes second nature.

We aim to “potty train” all of our staff - to level where they are confident in their own abilities

If your cat has been scheduled to start boarding with us on a day we are marked as closed - Please call our clinic on (03) 9813 4755 to organise what time you will be dropping them off with Nurse Lucy during the break ❕

We had Toby come in to see us this week as his owner suspected he had 2 grass seeds stuck under his hind leg. Once we began removing the 2 - we ended up with too many to count that were stuck under his long coat❕

Tony’s owner did an awesome job identifying the two and bringing him in 🐶 We spent time together afterwards to comb through Toby’s fur to ensure no more tangles! 🤍

Indie had a lump removed from one of her back legs, and was showered with cuddles and sunshine before heading home 💚

Bernie and his owner have implemented a ramp in their travel routine to save Bernie possible injury from jumping, and his owner from lifting 🐶 If your pet is showing signs of muscle pain or injury - come see us for animal acupuncture as a stand-alone or additional therapy method 🤍

To minimise the risk of injury, Bernie’s owner has an amazing addition to their travels ! This ramps allows Bernie to walk out of the car instead of jumping down which can be harmful, especially for our big dogs ! 🐶🙈 .
