☀️🐕 LEVEL 1 GRADUATION 🐕☀️

Congratulations to our Level 1 Team on your graduation!!

Over the past 4 weeks we have been learning lots of new skills and command work!

This level is for any age dog to begin their training journey and a follow on from our puppy pre school course!!

We have been learning how to teach our dogs their commands and showing their caregivers how to achieve automatic outcomes when using command work.

We also start learning “heel” commands on top of sit, stay (impulse control), drop, name recognition, recall and great lead handling skills!

I’m here to guide you through the process and help my clients understand how a dogs mind works and the best ways we can teach our dogs positive reinforcement with amazing outcomes!!

Thanks for the fun each week and you’re all doing fantastic!! Well done!!

I hope to see you in Level 2 once I’m back to training!!

Congratulations puppy team on your graduation!

What a team!! We made an 100% attendance for this team actors 5 weeks and you have all reached your goals throughout our puppy course!

This is where all the fun begins in starting to teach our pups the basics of obedience and focus on their care givers!

We teach their humans how to best train their pups and how a dogs mind works so we can understand how to effectively implement positive reinforcement through our training techniques!!

Keep up the good work!! You have all smashed your goals through this course and supported each other through the process!

🎓☀️ LEVEL 2 GRADUATION ☀️🎓

Congratulations to our Level 2 team on your recent graduation!!

We made huge progress together over 7 weeks, with our dogs whilst having fun and connecting as a team!!

In this level we have already learned the basics of obedience and begin to bring it all together under higher distractions and more complex exercises.

We practice impulse control of “stay” in sit, stand and drop positions, heel patterns for loose lead walking, lead handling skills for the humans and having our dogs learn to have a strong focus on their humans and away from distractions around them!!

We also had a fantastic day training out in public at Queens Beach where we had huge distractions all around us and had so much fun together putting what we had learned into practice on a beautiful day!!

It’s extremely rewarding watching you each week achieve your goals! Well done you should be so proud of your hard work!!

Congratulations to our Level 1 team on your graduation!!

Over the past 4 weeks we have been learning lots of great new skills with our dogs and lead handling practice for their families!

This level we have been learning how to teach automatic sits, stays, name recognition, drop, heel patterns, recall and impulse control on getting our dogs to focus in on us over other distractions around them!

It’s an absolute pleasure each week guiding our team and helping them understand how a dogs mind works and then implementing tools for positive outcomes!!

Remember the 3 p’s…..PATIENCE, PRACTICE AND PERSISTENCE!!!

Dogs are extremely smart animals and we have the pleasure of showing them how to respond and understand the human language and achieve fantastic results by implementing what we learn in class into your lifestyle!!

😍LEVEL 1 OBEDIENCE GRADUATION🐶🐾

🥳 Congratulations to our Saturday Level 1 obedience team on your graduation day!!

Throughout this course we have learned and been practicing command work of sit, sit/stay, drop, recall, name recognition, heel patterns, release words, impulse control and hand signals whilst building our dogs confidence and working as a team.

It’s important to understand how our dogs minds work and to use positive reinforcement methods for the best outcomes, so it’s not just about our dogs, we are also teaching their humans lead handling skills and how to effectively raise a well mannered dog who can stay focused under different distractions!!

With regular practice and implementing what we have learned, our end goal is to have our dogs see us as strong and confident leaders, build trust and have firm and fair rules, boundaries and limitations within your pack!

Well done to you all!! It’s an absolute pleasure seeing your progress each week!

We have had a blast over the past 4 weeks learning new skills for our humans and their dogs!!

We have not only been learning our command work, hand signals and impulse control, but have also had fun teaching our dogs little tricks and techniques and enjoying some time on the agility equipment!

🐕PUPPY SCHOOL STARTS TUESDAY🐕

😍 Our next puppy school starts this Tuesday at 5.30pm! We only have a couple of spots available so send out a message to secure a place on our next puppy team!!

➡️ MEET POPPY & DIVVY!! 💥

These 2 gorgeous snags have just passed their puppy school and I wanted to share a little story with you all!

Poppy & Divvy’s humans, Delta & Leah, have done an incredible job in training these two cuties and they make the trip each week to come down from Collinsville to join in the puppy fun! We have previously trained together with their other dachshunds with amazing results!

Don’t underestimate the importance of training small breed dogs and the positive outcomes you can achieve with them!!

I often have owners contact me with frustrations and behavioural issues with their dachshunds who have bitten people, are scared, bark all the time, react to humans and other dogs, not social…..the list goes on…..

I am absolutely here to help anyone who is willing to put in the work with their dogs and I can tell you it’s a whole lot easier to prevent these behaviours from happening than working to desensitise a behaviour that has become the “normal”

I have had cuddles with both these gorgeous pups (and they are continuing their training journey) and I can tell you it’s a rare occasion that this happens with the breed! I was so happy at how confident they have become due to their early training, socialisation and commitment from Delta & Leah!! Well done ladies!! 🤗💜

Don’t forget that all dog breeds were originally used as working dogs and it’s up to us to work our dogs minds to insure understanding and respect between owner and canine and raising a calm and confident dog!
You will also find training will tire out your dogs just as much (if not more) than a walk!! 😴 🙌🏻

❌ DON’T EXPECT YOUR DOGS TO UNDERSTAND THE HUMAN LANGUAGE IF WE DON’T SHOW THEM HOW TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WE WANT FROM THEM IN A WAY THAT IS RESPONSIVE & POSITIVE.

🐶 I can’t recommend enough the importance of bringing our puppy’s and dogs into training to start socialising and learning, whilst also educating owners on the best ways to connect and train with their beautiful doggies!!

Congratulations to our puppy’s and their families on their graduation!!!

What a fantastic team who have achieved incredible outcomes over the past 5 weeks!

I love that these pups and their family packs were able to come each week and learn together!

If we are able to educate a family together and everyone is on the same page with their training at home, our dogs will respond and learn quickly as they go through their command work and lead handling skills and education for the humans.

So proud of you all!!! It’s been an absolute pleasure each week guiding you through the very beginning of your training journey!

Congratulations puppy team on your commitment through this 5 week course!

It’s been an absolute pleasure each week watching the beginning of your training journey together and guiding you through the exercises we have learned so far.

We are not just here to train puppy’s but to educate their humans on how best to navigate through the puppy stage and then to support you further in your training as your canine companions grow.

It’s so important to help our dogs understand their place in your pack (family) and how to implement strong rules, boundaries and limitations from the time your puppy arrives home. It’s imperative to expose them to many different environments to build confidence, love and trust!

Congratulations to our Level 2 Obedience team on your graduation!

I’m so proud of the progress our team has made over 7 weeks!

We have learned new exercises and skills together to strengthen our command work, focus and impulse control with our dogs.

A well trained dog is the outcome of their humans taking the time each day to practice and understand each others language.

Humans go to school for many hours a day over years and years to learn how to read, write, speak and be educated. It’s no different for our dogs and their learning.

As humans we need to hold ourselves accountable and commit the time to learning and practice with our dogs to achieve high levels of success!

Remember the “3 P’s” practice, patience and persistence!!!

Maverick & Rosie came back through our Level 1 Obedience course to continue strengthening their training and working with their owners on proofing their command work and focus.

We encourage and welcome continued education and support when training your canine companions!!!

Our dogs absolutely love working for us and coming to training. The commitment from Mel & Helen and their families has given their dogs the opportunity to finer tune their training skills and strengthen their bonds and understanding together.

My Benji’s first official night at training. He has never been to training classes before with other dogs but learned his obedience. He had a blast learning new obstacles and trying new equipment!!! Proud mumma right here 😍💜🐶🐾

***BOSTON THE HAPPY JUMPER*** Boston “happy jumps” on the spot when he comes to our private training sessions! Such special and healing energy for me at the moment and everytime we meet up. He’s such a handsome boy!! 😍 Boston learned his “drop” command in training today and did super!! Regular and Consistent training with his Mum and it won’t take long before it becomes an “automatic” command upon leadership, patience and practice from his beautiful mumma!!! Live in the moment just like our beautiful dogs! These past 10 days, since my car accident, I have being reflecting deeply. Life’s too short.
