I bathed her 3 weeks ago and brushed sometimes now and then.

We all get nervous grooming puppy for the very first time!
Even for me, I have to consider that this is the most important grooming as future grooming sessions depend upon it (stressful and hard or easy and relaxed)
This is Olly 12wks old Cavoodle.
You can see dryer is noisy, Olly is scared, trying to run away, he is still not sure what's going on.
But can you see I am not holding him too tight? I let him run into my arms but not holding.
The reason is Olly can still look for comfort in my arms but not fighting hard to escape from me, and gradually he is getting use to the noise and feeling of the brushing and it has to be all ”His choice” I want him to chose stay calm, ”this isn't that bad” feeling.
”Waiting””Patience” are the key.
And voila! Olly did well😊

Today, Merlin had bath, blow dry, trim around feet(between the paws as well) & bottom, hygiene clip, nail clip, ear cleaning and anal glands.

Can you comb through your dog’s coat?
Dogs feel comfortable and cool even if they have long coat when the coat is tangle and knots free.
Just check with comb every time after you brush her/him.
We had Merlin for a night with us last week. We always introduce them small area first to settle down to get used to the new environment and our life style, introduce new ”Structure” for dogs. Dogs will settle down gradually and less stress that way, some takes few days, some takes a day like Merlin! He did quite well! He got along with my dogs well, well behaved with our cats too.👍
