Ever been to a show and thought to yourself, “Wow, that was a great show, we had so much fun!”

We want to know why!

Our intent is to create a show with loads of fun for everyone. We want to give people the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful heavy horse community, have a fun competition and catch up with friends old and new.

There’ll be dinner and a fire and a program with loads of options. Just like last year some great local organisations will be involved - Braidwood is a wonderful community and we can’t wait to show it off!

We want to create an annual event everyone LOVES attending. So if there’s a class you want to see, a suggestion for a novelty event, or any thoughts on campfire fun - PLEASE send us a message.

Say hello to our Supreme Champion Foal, Oscarville ‘unnamed’, exhibited by Paul & Lisa Cooper.

This stunning foal had judge, spectators and commentator all delighted with his lovely conformation and beautiful temperament and ended up with quite a few new names.

He earned Paul & Lisa a cash prize thanks to Nathan Stone and a sizeable Kohnke’s Own voucher.

Another big thank you to Braidwood Pony Club for putting on some food for our exhibitors and spectators! You guys did an amazing job and it was wonderful to have you with us.

We hope the fundraising went well and can’t wait to see your new dressage arena soon.

If you haven’t had one of Jude’s Portuguese Custard Tarts, you’re missing out!! We’ll see if we can talk her into making them again next year 😉

Full of gratitude for Hold Fast Distillery’s donation of some of its stunning spirits as thank you gifts for our judge and volunteers.

Making a show work takes plenty of input from a whole host of people, and it was wonderful to watch their faces light up on receipt of this unique gift made right here in our beautiful town.

Thank you Hold Fast Distillery! One of the people who received these has already been into your cellar door at Troopers Rest and there’s no doubt the others will be stopping by on their next visit.

We'd like to express our massive thanks to Kohnke's Own for their generous sponsorship of Braidwood & District Heavy Horse Show.
