Herefords Australia are pleased to announce that the first inaugural Future Leaders and Breeders forum will be held on 23rd & 24th October 2024 in Brisbane!!

The forum will educate and encourage tertiary students and young professionals aged between 20-40 in the early stages of their agricultural careers. Providing bright, young beef breeders with vital information and the tools they need to be the future leaders of the red meat industry.

This scholarship, generously funded by Wild Bear Herefords of the Davies Family in South Australia, is a new offering for the 2024 Herefords Australia National Youth Expo.

The recipient will be awarded an entry to the 2025 South Australian Junior Heifer Expo, along with a heifer provided by Wild Bear Herefords.

ENTRIES NOW OPEN FOR HEREFORDS AUSTRALIA NATIONAL YOUTH EXPO 🐮

The Herefords Australia Youth Committee extends an invitation to all young enthusiasts in the beef industry to join us at the 2024 Herefords Australia National Youth Expo. The event will take place at Cootamundra Showground from Thursday, July 11th, to Sunday, July 14th, 2024.

Our goal is to provide young individuals with the chance to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the beef industry within a secure and inclusive setting. We have placed significant emphasis on tailoring the demonstrations to be age-appropriate, ensuring that practical skills and valuable knowledge can be gained from the experience.
