The BlackBerry arbor is certainly producing so well this year. I just picked another kg of Blackberries and I reckon I am not even a quarter of the way through how much it is producing.
Looks like the trifle will be a berry trifle this year.

Our little Hen House has produced its first egg today, I wasn’t expecting anything for at least another week, such good girls.

Chicken coop is complete, Raegan planted heaps of plants around the outside today. A lick of paint. Now just waiting for the chickens to lay some eggs.

Not quite spring but can’t tell the trees. Blossoms all coming out atm. And the flowers are blooming.

Big day tree planting today. 30 Weeping willows down the back fence line. With a couple of duck onlookers. They will look magnificent in no time.

The chicken’s are here. It’s been a process to get the chicken coop built. We would like to name the coop so feel free to share any suggestions. The grandkids have picked the names for the girls.

Finally got some rain, got some more planting in. And the lipstick maples are looking amazing.

Clearing out the garden, getting ready to plant some winter veges. A few green tomatoes still on the vein so decided to make some Green Tomato Chutney.

I spent a couple of hours on the Blackberry arbour today. It was a big bushie mess. I managed to untangle most of it and tied it all to the arbour. So happy that some of the vines were really long and I have tied them up and over the top. Now it is All pruned it will be easy to manage. We did get a lot of fruit off it this year., can’t wait the next lot of fruit,
