Double coated life

Long time client had made a booking. Sometimes with longer coated breeds it’s hard to find any issues even with maintenance related ones. But this unfortunately was a ruptured a**l gland, and after a little clean up with the shaver we could see it properly.
Once this guy is healed will have him return to do a full groom. If you do notice any abnormal signs like scooting, or licking or rubbing leading up to your grooming appointment make sure to give your groomer a heads up as there might be a issue they could see and avoid further irritation or discomfort to your doggy.

Grooming area and Reception now safely separated. Still retaining viewing windows to see how everything works and keeping operations fully transparent. This space including turnaround times, limited bookings per day has been a refreshing game changer. Calmness of the environment being the main noticeable change that your doggies are experiencing and they prove this upon drop off and pick up.

Over the past decade alot has gone into understanding what is needed to provide quality workmanship and the main issue I have continually encountered is environment comfortability. Comfortability for workers and doggy clients, turnaround times, people to doggy ratio in the salon, and even down to booking in certain breeds together as clashing temperaments can make the grooming environment a stressful one.

Always refining, always learning and understanding and always improving.
