Please spread the word. I am having to cancel the obstacle days for this week. I have had the past 11 days of hell..started originally with Influenza A (now clear of all those things as per Laverty test for everything…but an xray has now revealed acute bronchial pheumonia. I was admitted to hospital yesterday for IV antibiotics. I was hoping for a quick miriacle but sadly no it will take a few days. So in the interest of ‘sanity’ I am going to do something smart and cancelled which you guys know how much I hate letting people down so I truly hope you can forgive me. This has literally brought me to my knees which is not easy to admit when you’ve always been the ‘strong’ horsey girl who ‘does it anyway’!

**EVENT CANCELLED**
Hey everyone - I’m so sorry for my internet silence…I have now literally been bedridden for 8 days…but on a very positive thinking- we are still going to go ahead with our obstacle/morning tea days this coming Friday/Saturday the 9th and 10th . Surely I will be feeling a bit better every day now 🤞 but for that reason I won’t do any home baking this time because I would absolutely hate to pass this on to anyone else..so I will buy food in for this one only. Anyway - let’s get to planning if you can join us- message or comment as many of you already have 😊

Well we didn’t all get blown away thank goodness…and I’m sure I speak for everyone who was here..we had a fantastic Liberty clinic with Tanja Kraus Horsemanship this weekend. Everyone went home feeling much more connected with their beautiful horses. I myself couldn’t be happier with my gorgeous ‘Queenie’ and the try that she had for what I was asking 🥰

November 8 & 9th (will be a late Halloween theme)
December 20&21st (Xmas theme)

You guys make me so happy…it amazes me how everyone can get together and be so supportive- we have people on the calm horses who support the more nervous and same with the people-always supportive in this non competitive environment 💓. And how about the weather…2 magic days of horse play, conversations and laughs. Thanks for coming again 🥰

Our Next Obstacle Morning Tea dates are coming up quickly- which are Friday/Saturday the 28/29 June.

I already have a few names written down but please if you’re interested- comment or PM me - this system has been working well with your co-operation. It allows me to keep costs at a minimum rather than going through a booking system and having to increase costs.
9am start time - $30 including morning tea afterwards.

I’m so looking forward to welcoming everyone back it’s been too long since we’ve had you all here- oh and we have been busy working on a new permanent obstacle as well 🤩

While Tanja Kraus was here last couple days running another excellent Boutique clinic - we were trying to work on dates available for her to be able to run one of her very popular Liberty clinics here at Together Horsemanship facilities. Please think hard on whether you would like to take up this fantastic offer of Tanja running this clinic in your local area. We did come up with some dates for July. Please contact either myself of Tanja Kraus Horsemanship to register your interest to make this clinic happen. It’s a fantastic opportunity to deepen your connection with your partnership horse.

Tanja Kraus will be at Taree Showgrounds undercover arena next Tuesday/Wednesday 11/12 June. I know there are a couple of spots available- so if you’ve been thinking about doing one of these awesome clinics….this is a great opportunity- I’ve been a student of Tanja’s for just on 10 years now and can’t speak highly enough of her. Tomorrow is our ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ cancer council fundraiser, being held here at Together Horsemanship starting at 9.30am. Remember with end of financial year very close - any donation is fully tax deductible and you won’t have to wait long to be able to claim
the donation back.
Sadly we all know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease - so this is a way we can raise funds to help those that are impacted by cancer.

Hey everyone - so this coming Friday morning at 9.30 is my ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ fundraising event. I would love to see as many of our regular people as possible. I will provide morning tea like I normally do for our obstacle days…hoping for a $10 minimum donation that will go directly to the Cancer Council. As previously mentioned- I will have the obstacles set up and we may organise some ‘people’ games to play - but it could also be a chance for you to bring along friends or family as well to show them what we do when you come to our obstacle days. I will be back to ‘business as usual’ this Monday- the 20th May. It’s been a wonderful break but I’m excited to get back to our regular lessons again- as I’m sure Dusty and the ‘crew’ will have missed all the attention that they get from you guys as well. As most of you have probably suspected I am going to CANCEL the next obstacle days which were to be next Friday/Saturday the 24&25 May. I won’t be home till this coming Friday but I’ve been told that it’s pretty wet and looks like there won’t be much chance of it drying out before that date. I will re schedule asap and let you know once I’m back home and working again (back with regular lessons etc. on Monday the 20th). What I am hoping will work out though…is I am going to host my very first ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ event as a fundraiser on the Friday (24th) morning at
9.30am.
So no horses but still a fun opportunity for us all to get together and put in a donation towards fighting this terrible disease. I will set up the obstacles and maybe you can bring along a friend or two and show them around - maybe go for a walk around the obstacles, as well as joining in for tea/coffee and cakes. I will post a link separately for donations to my event which takes you straight to the cancer council biggest morning tea site.
Please let me know if you will be attending so I can cater.
Hope to see as many of you as can make it- and remember friends/partners are welcome.

Thanks for coming today ladies.
It’s always such a pleasure seeing the positive changes that can happen when people return from a previous visit - a young horse returned who showed great progress in confidence and was able to engage much more with his owner and his environment- then a rider who has been putting in the work to build her relationship with her new horse….all smiles and brimming with trust in her partnership horse while they both went on their own adventure around the obstacles. It was a gorgeous morning and great seeing everyone 😊..and Lucky me…I get to do it all
Again tomorrow 💕

Just chasing up numbers for this Friday/Saturday obstacle mornings. We still have a few spots available on each day and because we will be able to run it out in the big area - it won’t be affected by these showers of rain we’ve been getting. Obviously if it’s actually heavy rain on the morning of the obstacle days I will make a call early enough for those that travel…but weather predictions keep changing daily so at this stage we will plan to go ahead. Please comment or PM if you think you can make it…thanks to those that already have put their names down. 😊

So today I’ve let my beautiful boy Mingo - leave to go to a new home with a beautiful kind loving friend Karen Hewson. Karen has been searching for a new horse to do cowboy dressage, ranch riding, working Eq..and be her new best friend. As a lot of you know I am absolutely blessed to own 2 other gorgeous mares and also a couple of babies who will be ready in a blink. Thanks to Tanja Kraus who originally suggested Karen during a conversation about how I needed to find more time to get my other mare Queenie back into work. Selling Mingo whom I bred and started myself, was not ever a thought that would have crossed my mind…but once the words were spoken…they really did make sense. A better home for Mingo could not have been found …AND I still get to see him and hear about him. So with very mixed emotions I watched my beautiful boy leave the property this morning for the very first time in his 8 year long life - without me 💔 Again thank you Karen - I know you will look after him so well. Photo of Mingo yesterday helping me for the last time with a lesson…and also photo of Queenie who now has big shoes to fill. AND a photo of a very happy Karen when she had her very first ride on Mingo 🥰
Thank you my boy for all that you’ve given and taught me - forever in my heart 💓

Just a reminder this coming Friday/Saturday the 19th & 20th April are our next Obstacle Morning Tea sessions. Again start time is 9am - cost if $30pp. If we get the forecast rain on Thursday we may go straight out into the bigger outside obstacle area and move some of the ones from The smaller area out there as well…but will still have a lot of fun obstacles to play on.
