Healthy ears = happy pups! Build these easy habits to prevent ear infections in your dog 🐶

1️⃣ Regular cleaning (but don’t overdo it!)

Use a vet-approved ear cleaner every week to fortnight. But not more often than that as too much cleaning can irritate the ears.

2️⃣ Keep ears dry

Moisture is a huge cause of ear infections, especially for our floppy-eared pups.

3️⃣ Manage allergies

Itchy skin and food or seasonal allergies often show up as ear problems. Identifying and managing underlying allergies = fewer ear flare-ups.

4️⃣ Do routine checks

Peek for redness, smell, or gunk. Catching something early saves your dog a lot of discomfort.

✅ Fact: Regular nail trimming helps protect joint health

Short nails allow dogs to stand and walk with proper posture, reducing strain on joints and preventing long-term discomfort.

✅ Fact: Cutting nails too short can hit the quick and cause pain

If the quick is cut, it bleeds and is very sensitive, making the dog afraid of future nail trims and causing immediate pain.
