Last Friday night (24/10/25), Aquarama Aquarium was honoured to be named a finalist in the Everton Park Business Awards! 🐠✨
While we didn’t take home the trophy in the retail category, we felt like winners in a much more meaningful way. Thanks to the incredible comments shared during voting, we got a glimpse into how much our community values what we do—and wow, did that warm our hearts 💙

I'm a fish enthusiast and am in there what feels like every week stocking up on supplies and getting advice for how to best care for my aquatic pets. The team are always friendly and ready to lend a hand as well as highly knowledgeable. On the rare occasion they don't know something, they are honest and guide me to someone with the expertise I'm after. This great service has built a community of regular customers with a shared passion for fish, and I often see familiar faces in the store who join in on the conversation. More than just a shop, Aquarama is a community of its own and that only happens through excellence.

A business that has been operating for over 20 years deserves recognition. It is a family-friendly aquarium, not just after a quick sale. Trina and her staff provide advice on types of fish and how to best care for them. I love that they name some of their fish, what a fun thing. Their Website is, as they say, easy to use and the photos of the fish are amazing.
Lots of variety offered, friendly staff. Committed to community. A lovely relaxing place where watching children sitting glued to a tank instead of a screen is as good as being glued to a tank yourself.

All the staff at Aquarama are really knowledgeable about their job and the stock they sell. They can tell you everything you need to know about setting up your own home aquarium and how to care for it properly. Also a huge range of fish and plants etc to set up properly.
The fish are all wonderfully cared for and the team who run the shop are always helpful and friendly. Always a great experience and love to support the locals!!
This business has been strong for many many years and has forged through difficult years of trading around Covi. This has been particularly hard when you’re dealing with living stock. This store never gives up. I have affordable pricing, great stock selection , friendly staff and a wonderful owner, who is the essence of strong female leadership and commitment in the retail industry. Aquarama also is very generous to the community. They have something for every member in the family.
