Yesterday I attended a seminar ran by Dr Cliff from the USA about Skin and Coat 101!
It’s so important as groomers to learn new things and to keep us educated!

Wow wow wow!
The results are out! Pimped Up Pooches made it in the Top 10 Best Brisbane Dog Groomers! We were lucky enough to place 9th 💕 I am forever grateful for all my wonderful clients for making this possible! Without your support for the last 12 months, my dream wouldn’t be possible!

Important notice!
Unfortunately Pimped Up Pooches will be moving in the next couple of months.
The owners of the house are selling (we rent) which means I need to find a new place!
I’m going to try and stay as close as possible but unfortunately it’s hard to find a rental at the moment! I will of course keep everyone updated and let everyone know my new location

Today was the biggest show of my life!
Chubbs and I won
BEST IN SHOW AT THE BULLDOG NATIONAL!!!
75 bulldogs entered! We are at the Ekka tomorrow if you want to come see us!
Please note this weekend is super busy for me and I might take a bit to get back to you!

Important notice!
Hi everyone!
From the 1st of August, a few changes will occur.
1- Upon arrival your dog will be weighed. This is to help keep track of any drastic changes in your pooches weight, for you to make sure you are feeding the correct food portions and medication and to make sure you are booking your dog in the correct weight category for their grooming.
2- The following services will change:
Basic Full Groom- 13mm or less short clip with a cute face (everything else stays the same)
Styled Full Groom- 16mm and over long styled clip, with scissored legs and cute face. If your pooch is fluffy, please book for a styled groom.
Matting and muzzle fee- if your pooch needs de-matting or requires a muzzle during its groom, a fee may be added.
3- There will be a $5 increase to all services

Yesterday I competed in the The Pet Show | BRISBANE Grooming Competition!
I entered two classes and placed
✨3rd in Asian Fusion✨
Advance level with 11 competitors Unfortunately didn’t place in Poodle class but extremely happy with how I did!
Thank you to everyone that helped and supported me! This comp was extra special, as it was my first one representing my own business!

Today is the first day of winter ❄️!
Did you know it’s still so important for your pooches to get groomed while it’s cold?!
You don’t need to do a full haircut. Tidy Ups are a perfect way to keep your dogs well maintained but still warm!
This includes warm bath and blow dry, a face tidy, feet tidy, hygiene area done and nails clipped.
