COMING SOON….. Making a meaningful impact on the lives of both humans and animals WELCOME TO COMPASSION CONNECT 🥳🥳
At Compassion Connect, we provide an inclusive program for individuals with disabilities that is centred around animal care. Our program is based at a Brisbane animal rescue sanctuary and focuses on the world of animal rescue and rehabilitation. Participants will work alongside a team of dedicated animal carers, gaining valuable work experience and transferable skills. Through working with animals, participants will develop their mental and developmental abilities, while also fostering independence and confidence. Additionally, our program provides opportunities for new friendships to be formed, all while being part of the DRU team. Our fun, interactive, and educational approach allows participants to connect with animals while meeting their personal goals and gaining valuable work experience.
Animal based programs have been proven over time to be one of the most successful and rewarding programs. What makes us special and different to others, is we operate through fully operating rescue saving animals with all type of conditions and needs at a beautiful sanctuary where animals and people can help heal and grow together, giving an even bigger and better purpose for all participants and for them to feel the rewards of helping rescue and caring for animals.
These programs have been specifically designed by qualified and experienced people in the field to offer a long list of benefits while also giving the participants a sense of great purpose and fulfilment. They will join the team here at the animal Sanctuary and be directly responsible and part of the joy and happiness of saving lives. Rescue gives everyone a sense of purpose, responsibility, empathy, compassion, improved mental health and happiness, we have learnt that saving animals gives more to the people involved then we can ever give to the animals, we have created this space to give participants a program that will help them meet their goals in the community and give them sense of belonging and purpose in saving lives while being part of a family and team.
