I’m very quiet this week as I undergo monitoring for my epilepsy. This means I’m not allowed in the bird room and Matt is on full birdie duties. I still have baby feeds around the clock. Luckily they don’t see the problem with me having a contraption on me. Lots of babies in the hot box at the moment is keeping me very busy. This little girl is an only child and she loves it. A few more days and she will be in the big bird room with the big kids. A couple more days and I will be able to go back in the bird room and things can go back to “normal”. Stay in touch as there will be lots of birdie action as these babies pop out some feathers. Very excited as they come from new parents so there is lots of guessing as to what they will be. Looks like we have some surprises already.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday back at the Brisbane Showgrounds to pick up the last of our cages from the pet show. What a fabulous event. Was amazing to meet so many bird loving people with excellent questions and beautiful stories. Met great vendors and we were well looked after by the vent organisers and staff. Really look forward to the next one after a long rest. Will be contacting everyone who made contact with us at the show. See you at the next one.

Too much cuteness. Three sweet little American turquoise girls with full bellies. These babies are four weeks old and learning about big kids food whilst being hand fed. Oh the adventures they are having discovering about wings. Lots of crash landings.
