Fern (Make a Wish) attempting to cuddle Daisy (I am so Precious)…Daisy likes her space and is very tolerant but a bit uncomfortable with Fern’s devotion!
Fern had her hips x-rayed (so that she can hopefully be a mum one day) so she was wanting a bit of love! They do blend well together!

Fern and Daisy are friends at last! Daisy likes her space.. Fern wants to jump all over Daisy.. lots of boundary setting going on between them!

At last Fernie gets a cuddle! She has been trying to sleep next to Daisy for weeks now and usually Daisy moves away! This is a first big success for Fernie’s mission to make friends!

Unfortunately this habit means it is likely to get stolen if she’s not in her pen! She has the prettiest eyes!

Thanks so much to Emily from Emikow & Fishington Cocker Spaniels for the opportunity to love this little girl Fern/Fernie who melts our hearts but also tips out all our flowerpots! Her coat is fabulous and she has the prettiest eyes!
Also thanks to Terri Davies who advised me on our next girl for Dangold! She has so much experience we are lucky to own a baby from her beautiful boy Levi!

Great news at Dangold! Thanks to Emily at Emikow and the advice of Terri at Macdolly we have a new girl! Meet Fern/Ferny she is taking the world by storm already full of personality and sooo beautiful!

Lots of snoozing happening here at Dangold! Ultrasound on Monday to check if Daisy is in whelp! If she’s not she’s certainly sleeping a lot and maybe it’s the cold weather making her cuddle up!

Daisy is doing Home School the Dog by Susan Garrett! We haven’t got to the not chewing up paper bit yet!
Susan Garrett has a great puppy routine on youtube so we may use that to get Daisy’s puppies comfortable ( if she is expecting).

It’s suddenly chilly so I am snoozing on my sister’s oodie to stay cozy! Dreaming of my puppies that are hopefully starting out safely as I snooze!

Daisy is in season! We are consulting with the vet regarding the best time to try for a litter. Boyfriend has been selected if all goes well!
Fingers crossed for good news soon!

Daisy is taking ownership of my new cabin! She feels the wood tones blend nicely with her orange roan coat. You can see wears her heart on her side! However she only has love for Tigger (Macdolly Time to Keep Secrets) and is hoping to have some gorgeous puppies with him soon!

What I love about cocker spaniels is the way the cuddle up! Daisy loves a midday snooze just like a young child!
I find if she gets a good sleep midday she is happier all day.
Mind you she needs regular exercise and mental stimulation! Cocker spaniels are very intelligent and energetic. They need things to do or they will make up their own fun! Also things to chew!
She always gets two often three walks a day. Mostly they need to sniff everything as all gundogs are designed to use their nose and this is very important for them.
I get so much love from my dog she’s worth her weight in gold!

Welcome to Dangold - we are new to breeding dogs but not new to the love of purebred Gun-dogs.

We are starting out the way we plan to go forward undertaking health testing for due diligence (hip and elbow scored), DNA testing for the breed via Orivet and AON testing.

No kennels we will have happy and well adjusted house reared puppies with our fingers crossed in mid 2023.

We plan to breed to Champion stud dogs who are successful in the show ring and great examples of this wonderful breed.
