Many individuals hold the belief that unpleasant breath is a common occurrence in their pets. However, it may serve as an initial indicator of dental issues in our furry companions. A significant majority, at least four out of five, of dogs and cats aged three and above suffer from some degree of dental disease.

Signs of dental disease include:
🦷 Smelly breath
🦷 Rubbing of the mouth
🦷 Changes in eating behaviour such as being off dry food
🦷 Swelling around the muzzle area
🦷 Bleeding from the mouth

Here at TCFVC we offer a full dental service including scaling, polishing, dental x-rays, extractions, and a full assessment of your pet’s mouth.

It's Springtime which means wildlife is out and about and baby birds are finding their wings!

Sometimes when we see a baby bird on the ground our first thought is to take it to the vet, however this is not always the right decision as it can cause more harm taking them from their parents as they are just learning how to do life on their own.

If you find a baby bird, follow this chart before you bring it in to make sure it is the right decision for our feathered friends. 💙
