Where it came from ……

Today many dog owners prefer Martingale Collars for their combinations of FUNCTIONALITY and STYLE .

A little snippet about the HISTORY OF THE MARTINGALE COLLAR

The Marrtingales history is dating back to the 19th century when it was first designed for Greyhounds, Whippets and other sight hound breeds, who easily slipped out of their traditional flat collars.
Their neck were often larger then the head making the slip out easy!

Its distinctive feature is a loop design with a limited slip function.

The design includes a larger loop and a smaller loop, when tension is applied, the smaller loop tightens, preventing the escape!

Initially used for training, it has become popular
for its safety and aesthetic appeal.
