This handsome boy was super brave for his dental procedure this week! His teeth were scaled and polished, and Dr Cindy also removed 2 of his teeth! Cosmo was fortunate enough to qualify for the free dental radiograph promotion we have running in the month of July. Don't forget to book your pet in for their free dental health check!

For this month only, we are offering our dental radiographs absolutely free! They are usually worth $150, but are priceless when it comes to the information that they offer us.

Please call the clinic on 3278 4354 to book in! We always offer free dental checks as well to ensure we are able to give you a more accurate estimate on your pets dental health. Dental disease is graded from 1-4, and with that comes varying costs. Please note that our free dental radiographs are offered to pets with grades 2-4.

Cats are brilliant at hiding their pain! If you have a cat at home, keep these signs of Arthritis on your mind:

😺 When climbing upstairs, they are using their back legs in a bunny hop motion and may stop for breaks
😺 When coming downstairs, they may angle their body to the side and take one step at a time
😺 Not as interested in playing or takes frequent breaks
😺 Hesitates before jumping up, or may not clear the jump and have to use their legs to pull/push themselves up
😺 Hesitates before jumping down, may make smaller jumps or reaches down to the ground instead of leaping
😺 Moves at a slower speed in general, or uses both back legs in a bunny hop motion when running

Ruairi has been with us for three years now, and he has been a qualified veterinary nurse working in the industry for 8 years. Ruairi is passionate about patient care and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of surgical nursing. At home Ruairi has a beautiful Rottweiler named Kira, and in his spare time you'll find him outdoors rock climbing and hiking.

Nurse Kelly

Kelly has been a part of the clinic since the very beginning, almost 9 years now! She has been a qualified nurse working in the industry for over 10 years. Her special interest is all things to do with surgical nursing. Kelly's small farm consists of: 5 horses, 5 dogs, 3 cats; many chickens and roosters; fish; and a myriad of other feathered critters!
