Due to unforseen personal circumstances we have a client who is needing to rehome their beloved cat Harley.

The owners have asked if we can post to our clients to see if anyone might be interested in adopting an older cat.
Harley is a 10 year old, quiet boy. He's microchipped and desexed and has had regular, annual Vet checks and vaccinations with us.

MURPHYS STORY

Murphy has always loved to carry rocks around the yard, until one day he decided his breakfast wasn't big enough and took matters into his own hands!
We hope he brushes up on his critical thinking skills because this decision cost him an abdominal surgery!

He came into the clinic for vomitting and reluctance to eat. After taking an x-ray of his abdomen it was clear what was wrong. After Dr Romilly proceeded with the surgery and removed the rock successfully, we discovered Murphy had another blockage from a large amount of grass.

This is a reminder that even the smallest objects can pose a serious threat to our pets if ingested. Whether it's a rock, a toy, or any other foreign object, our curious companions can be at risk.

Signs of ingestion can vary, but some common symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. If you suspect your pet has ingested something they shouldn't have, don't hesitate to contact us immediately!

Murphy is back to his happy, bouncy self and even got some bedazzling work done on his cone of shame!
Luckily, his owners were prepared for these unforeseen incidents that occur when owning a dog and have pet insurance for him. They managed to claim back most of the surgery costs.

Our star receptionist Julie is swimming to save lives this March!

Su***de is the leading cause for death of death for young people in Australia.
ReachOut provides a safe online place for young people to chat anonymously, get support and feel better.

This cause is close to Julie's heart as it is for so many of us, so her goal is to swim a total of 15km in the month of March. All money raised will go to the cause and help prevent youth su***de.

NOSE JOB
Dr Romilly has done a fantastic plastic surgery job patching Boss's nose back together after he injured it yesterday.
His injury would have healed naturally, however the shape of his nose would remain altered with lots of scarring.
The owner elected to have it surgically reconstructed and was very pleased with the outcome.

CAT OWNERS
Unfortunately, there is currently a nation-wide shortage of cat vaccinations in Australia.
They are unavailable to wholesalers for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately, we are not taking on new clients for cat vaccinations at this point. We are happy to put you on a waitlist for when they return.
Not all of our current clients will be eligible to recieve a vaccination as we need to have some readily available for high risk cats.
