Brisbane Groomathon 2024 was such an exciting experience! This year, we were lucky to have two grooming masters, Gabriel and Logan, fly in from the U.S. to give an amazing talk on creative grooming. They reminded us that true creativity is about inspiration.
My design this year was inspired by the popular game Black Myth: Wukong, which brought Chinese mythology to the global stage. I used 3D printing to create key elements: the Golden Stick, scaled armor with coin patterns, and a gourd-shaped tail made by trimming and dyeing the fur with chocolate tones. The armor was painted in aged black and gold for a classic, strong look.
All of this came together on Louie, the Pomeranian, who rocked a Monkey King style with a gray and black base and gold accents. The design was unique and even earned win Third Place!
It was a risky idea since most competitors used bright colors, but I wanted my design to stand out as something different—creative, meaningful, and true to Asian culture. I hope this helps bring more attention to the beauty of our culture in the world of pet grooming.
Finally made it through another busy Friday! All the pups left their grooming sessions with happy smiles, ready for the weekend.🥳

Today, Lilac worked extra hours before her holiday to make sure all the pre-booked pups are looking fresh and fabulous. Over the next three weeks, we wish her a joyful and relaxing vacation. Our team will continue to operate as usual, providing grooming services for your dogs and cats.
Lilac will return on September 28th and will be working hard through the busy summer season all the way until Christmas..😘

You truly live up to your name. You’re named Bear and you’re as bear-like as can be.
Many first-time oodle owners love their puppies’ long puppy fur and worry that their first grooming might make it too short. So today, Willow, at 8 months old, came in for her first full groom. She behaved so well, not afraid of the blow dryer at all. As the groomer blow-dried her, they couldn’t help but envy her silky, shiny coat.
The most important emphasis is that regardless of the length of the fur, it requires meticulous care from the owner to achieve the cutest, oversized teddy bear look.
Cinna’s first grooming experience was a delight to behold. Witnessing her adorable presence and how she cooperated on the grooming table was heartwarming. The owner’s arrival to pick her up marked a joyful moment for all.
Today was Chase’s inaugural grooming session, a milestone I believe holds profound significance for every puppy. Each stage of the process presents its unique challenges, yet with the groomer’s adept guidance in helping the dog acclimate, a charming little companion, envisioned by its owner, blossoms into reality
