Exciting exciting exciting news for us today!

Bringing to you !! DOGGY DAYCARE RIGHT HERE IN THE PENINSULA

We brought a new business and have found the perfect location for our doggy daycare! We plan on being up and running in a month!
Ready to take booking as of next week!

We have many many exciting new details over the next few weeks to share with you!
And super stressed trying to make all of it happen as well as groom all your beautiful babies but I have big plans!

Our doggy daycare location? - Woody Point!!
Will we have a grooming salon there? YES! just not with me!

Are we moving ? NOOO 🥰 Dogge Lane is very much staying and never going anywhere ♥️

We have lots of more exciting news to share with you but this is all for now ♥️

Look forward to seeing all your beautiful babies for doggy daycare.
Our hotel will pending until we’re able to secure the correct permits ect but I am in the process of having kennels built in Cooloola Cove which I know we have approval for and can kennel/board dogs there.

It’s been a lot working this all out but I’m so excited 😆

Currently have 1 VERY sick baby.
As a single mum these situations are really hard for me, usually I’d bring the kids to work with me but when Airlie is this sick I think it’s best we stay home,

I also think whatever Airlie has I am getting, the past 2 days I’ve felt very run down and tired and also having no sleep during the night this is one exhausted Mumma.

If you could please book online at this time to save time in salon over the next few days..

I will be in touch to reschedule some appointments for tomorrow ( I do have our amazing team to open and still do appointments, I just won’t be in) and hopefully have Friday as normal.

Thankyou for understanding as the last few days have been hard for me 🥲😢

Can everyone please go and follow our new daycare/hotel!! Dogge Paradise
We’re doing everything we can to secure a location asap. We’re hoping northlakes or Redcliffe!
We will have full CTV so you can watch your pooch from your own phone at any time.

As happy as the beautiful summer to be back ❤️😍

Please forgive us in our delay to getting back to you and fitting you all in, feels just as busy as before Christmas! We had 12 new enquires just today!!

I’m doing my best to not miss any messages but with many things to check (emails, fb, insta, moe go, the phones) as well as groom all your beautiful fur babies! I’ve fallen abit behind 😞 we had over 100 messages on our voicemail when we got back from holidays !!

I will be open this Saturday but only have time for wash and blows or tidies and will be 15% surcharge

I am getting a back injection on Monday at 10am and am unable to drive afterwards so I want to give my staff a chance to practice being in salon without me and for me to see how they handle it 😉

Jj has been with me for 3 years now and is a real asset to Dogge Lane, he loves his job and has worked his way up with us from the start. He’s great! He has perfected his body’s and we’re so close to him being able to finish a face on his own. I have trust that JJ will be able to provide a quality service to you and you will be happy with his service!

Ellen is our new amazing grooming assistant and I am so happy to have her onboard. Her passion for dogs and her job is huge! She really enjoys learning grooming and is excellent with your fur babies. Kind, gentle and thorough. She takes pride in her work and I can’t wait to teach her all the things I know!

These appointments will be 25% off, that’s huge savings!

❗️ DOGGE LANE POLICIES ❗️

All customers must agree to these prior to your booking and we really will be enforcing the following for 2025.

❌ LATE PICK UP FEE - you must collect your dog within 1 hour of being messaged your dog is ready, please ensure we have the correct phone number for you! If you have not collected your dog within 1 hour, daycare fees will apply, $20 per hour you are late.
We need to be able to provide a safe space, fresh water and toileting to ALL our dogs!
If your appointment is at 2pm or later, you will have half an hour to collect your dog! Last year I was made late to daycare 6 times! And I pay $1 per minute I am late. Please respect I have 3 children to pick up from daycare/school everyday on my own.

❌ CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS -
I can’t even count how many times I had no shows in 2024 and as a small business it’s extremely frustrating as I book each day for the staff I have and it throws my whole day out. If you have an appointment and don’t show you will be charged $50 per dog!
WE REQUIRE 24 HOURS NOTICE TO RESCHEDULE.
If you wish to reschedule within 24 hours you will be charged $25.

❌ MATTING FEES
All matting and dematting is charged at $50 per hour, dogs can mat in places you can’t see or feel like under the chin, in the arm pits or in the hygiene areas, around the face or in the ears! Sometimes we can’t even tell how knotty your dog is until after we wash and blow them! EVERY COAT IS DIFFERENT. EVERY BREED IS DIFFERENT. EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT
We recommend seeing us every 4-6-8 weeks depending on your dog. If you’re not brushing your dog every day at home. It’s going to result in matting.
We only charge by how much time goes into your dog!!! I have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both of my hands and am currently waiting on surgery, this is caused from Grooming, especially dematting. It hurts my hands and this year I will be charging if your dog is mattered and has knots. Especially if you want a style cut. Most my clients are amazing and book what I recommend and for those who finically can’t afford to see us every 6-8 weeks that’s ok! I do understand the cost of living is crazy but please understand I won’t be only taking half off or doing scissor cuts anymore, It’s killing my hands and I’m not charging accordingly for it. This is my livelihood and my only income as a single mum, without my hands I can’t groom at all. I am happy to quote you estimates before our groom if you want one 🙂

❌ 2 PERSON FEES
* AGGRESSIVE & RESTLESS & ANXIOUS DOGS
We understand the grooming salon can be overwhelming for your fur baby, We use high powered blow driers and clippers which can be loud to little and big ears! Even with all the gear to assist us in making grooming easier (Happy hoodies, muzzles, hand driers ect) Sometimes dogs have bad days (Just like us) and sometimes just the excitement of being around other dogs to play with can cause restlessness.
Some dogs can become aggressive to us, sometimes they become aggressive to our tools! Which can be even more dangerous for your dogs as we work with scissors and sharp blades! If your dog was to even try lick our scissors out of excitement it will literally slice it in half! Sometimes dogs don’t want to stay still!
Here at dogge lane we have a 2 PERSON FEE so that during the groom we can have 2 people on the table with dog to provide a safe and positive experience!
If your dog does require a 2 person fee you will be notifed and discussed pricing.
Please understand I do this for the safety of your dog and to ensure we have a positive experience.

We have had HUGE improvements in our dogs that are anxious or aggressive by having this 2 person fee
Positive grooming experiences are so important!
So 2025 I will really be enforcing this
We will always be honest with you about your dogs behaviour and their dislikes about grooming!
Please don’t take this the wrong way, you can be doing everything right at home. Grooming is a tuff gig and grooming difficult dogs really takes a toll on your mental health as well, however the fee is cover the cost of wages of having a second person to groom your dog.

❌ We have the right to refuse or terminate the groom to any client if we feel at any time your dogs safety or our safety is at risk.
