๐ฆ Terrance the Turkey ๐ฆ
It was a warm and sunny Saturday when Terrance the bush turkey woke and found himself a bit lost and confused. From his point of view, a rather large pooch, thought it was time for a game of chase. "CHEEP, CHEEP CHEEP," Terrance said in hope the dog would leave him alone. Out of breath, shaking and scared, Terrance seeked shelter in a garden.
This was not a game Terrance was overly fond of and found himself in a bit of a pickle. Thankfully, Terrance's cheeps were heard by a neighbouring human and they quickly switched into action to save Terrance from this pesky pooch. Two, warm, human hands scooped up Terrance and he was rushed to MyOwnVet in hope he could be saved. ๐
He enjoyed being carried to MyOwnVet by his hero he finally had time to catch his breath.
Scared and confused, Terrance was handed over from his hero human to Nurse Jordan and Nurse Hannah to be checked over by a vet. Terrance was very well looked after by all 3 of our vets and was given a good bill of health to be re-released. The day only got better for Terrance, he was cuddled, fed, watered and absolutely adored by all of the staff at MyOwnVet. See the comments for the photo! ๐ธ
Terrance then had a short journey back to a place where he felt comfortable and was re-released in Toohey Forrest. Best of luck, Terrance! ๐ก๐๐ชถ
