Our slip leads are a collar and lead in one!
We have two thicknesses- 6mm and 8mm and either can be used on any size dog as they have a break strength of 1700kg.

Vet visits can be a bit ruff for our pets and sometimes us! Does the thought of having to take your pets to the vet stress everyone out?
Try these tips for your next visit;
➡️ Visit the vets BEFORE your actual appointment! Go during off-peak times, call ahead to find out if it’s busy or quiet. Most pets only go to the vets when they’re injured or ill and that’s their only association with the vets. Try going when you don’t have an appointment and create a nice experience for them. Lots of treats and praise!
➡️ Teachjng a place, down-stay or under
All of these come in handy at the vet! Having your dog know a position where they can just relax and chill out in the reception area waiting for their appointment time so they are aimlessly wandering around. A place also comes in handy for using the scales.
➡️ Practice Veterinary Procedures
Practice handling your dog the way your vets will so it’s not a totally foreign concept to them when they meet the vets. Examples of this are; checking their ears, eyes, teeth, paw pads. Practicing fake injections. There’s lots of ideas you can research and look into!

Such an amazing turnout at Pooches in the Park this morning! The dogs (and some children 😂) had a blast playing in the ball pit and paddle pool! Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us, you are incredible and already so keen for next year! 🫶🐾

Sunday 28th July at Penson Park in Kallangur! 8am - 12pm. Dog friendly event, ask before approaching other people’s dogs. It will be a busy event so if your dog is working on their dog or people reactivity, leave them at home so they aren’t overwhelmed at the event and bring yourself and some friends to pick up goodies to take home to your dog!
All of our products will available for purchase on the day - including training vests! We will also have a play area and cool off paddle pool for your pups!
Orion will of course be there too as CEO (chief eating officer) and can’t wait to meet you and help answer any questions you may have 😉

3 tips to help with crate training
1. Make the crate a positive place
- Comfy bedding/mat to make the crate a cozy and inviting space
- Crate covers can help some dogs feel comfortable and safe inside the crate
2. Take it slow
- introduce the crate slowly using treats and rewards
- Feeding their meals inside their crates
- Leaving the crate door open and letting your pet investigate on their own terms
- Slowly build up duration to time spent inside crate with door closed
3. Establish a routine
- use the crate as part of your dogs daily routine (mealtime, bedtime, when you leave the house ect)
Remember to take it slow and keep the process rewarding for your pets! If you need any extra help, reach out to us for some private training!

Hi everyone! With the new financial year starting we have a few changes that will come into effect on 16th July 2024 as the 1st day of Term 3 begins
• 2x service rates on public holidays
• 1.5x rates on Sundays/Mondays (business closure days including Stop & Stays)
• Due to inflation, all services (excluding Assessments and additional dogs) will be increased by $5. Clients on prepaid packages will be unaffected and new packages discounted at the new rates will be released on the 16th of July 2024.
• Sessions with Orion or Louie are now called Helper Dog Sessions and are $65 for 30mins
• If you purchased a Private Lesson package before 1st July 2024 for this service, you can continue to use this package interchangeably for all 30min Lesson types and Walk & Trains. Once the package has finished, you’ll be required to purchase a new package solely for Helper Dog Sessions or pay per session the $65

Excursions with Indie
Excursions are a 60 minute training session where we pick your dog up from your home and drive them to an external location max 15mins away for training in a high distraction, realistic environment. We then drop your dog back home happy and fulfilled!
This is a fantastic option for training during the week while you are at work or running short on time!
Please note, this service is only available to clients who have completed an Assessment with us

This Thursday's Snoot Squad! First up was Storm (Border Collie) for his Walk & Train to teach loose leash walking and improve his big feelings towards other dogs! Next was Korra (Golden Retriever) for her Walk & Train to get her out and about for physical and mental stimulation while her pawrents were at work. Then we had Sunny (Mixed Breed) for her Walk & Train to teach loose leash walking and help her feel better when sees other dogs on the street! Next up was Bailey and Barney for their 1-1 Walk & Trains, training loose leash walking and teaching threshold manners. This involves lots of impulse control! Last up today was Wally for his Trek & Train to the beach to train loose leash walking, engagement and recalls! 🌤🌿 Another week done and dusted and what an awesome week it was with our #snootsquad ! 🐶 On Monday we had Lennox, Gus and Jazz for Walk & Plays 🐾 Tuesday, we started off the day with a Walk & Train for Ziggy (Bischon x Poodle) who graduated his 5 pack of W&T! Then we took Luna (Kelpie) out for her first Trek & Train, followed by a Walk & Play for Bailey (Labrador) and Toby (Cavoodle). Then we headed further south for Cùko's (Golden), Jasper's (Belgian), Dustin's (Bull Arab X) and George's (Golden) Walk & Trains! Hank the Labrador had his first Walk & Train with us as well! 🐶✨️ We started Wednesday with Cooper (Bordoodle) Walk & Train, then a Private Lesson with Simba (GSD X), followed by Walk & Trains for Elly (Rhodesian Ridgeback) and Duke (Boerboel X). It was Duke's first session to begin puppy training! This afternoon was Walk & Trains with Rocky (Bischoodle), Maze (Bull Arab), Ed (Poodle) and Bossy (Dalmation). 🌊🐾 Thursday morning was hydrotherapy with Orion and I started work in the afternoon! We saw Bailey (King Charles Cav) and Barney (Cavoodle) for their 1-1 Walk & Trains, followed by a Private Lesson at the beachfront with Chief (Rottweiler). Then we met Arnold the Schnoodle for his Assessment! We finished off the day with Rain (Labradoodle) with her Walk & Train. 🥳🐶 Friday Funday started with Theo the Staffy's Private Lesson to continue working on his big feelings towards people. Then we had Mars (ACD) and Dutch (Border Collie) and Winter (Golden Retriever) for their Walk & Trains. After lunch, we took Bailey and Toby for 1-1 Walk & Trains, followed by Pepper (Great Dane X) and Merve (Mareema X). 🏬🐾 To start off the weekend we took Hank (Corgi) to the markets to work through his dog reactivity, followed by Walk & Trains for Bossy and Jasper! 🏡🐶 Monday-Friday we had Akira (GSD) for daily Walk & Plays as well! #snootservices #thesnootsquad #dogtrainer #brisbanedogtrainer #brisbanepetservices #petserv

And just like that, 2022 is almost over 🥺 This has been Snoot Services first full year and I never would've imagined in 2021 that I would be running my own business full-time at this stage in my life. Training up to 40 dogs a week and caring for fur, feathered and scaley babies 7 days a week while their human parents go away on holiday. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me this year and made my dream become a reality. I couldn't have done it without my wonderful clients and the support of my friends and family. I am so excited to work with you and your beloved pets in 2023 and bring new and exciting things to Snoot ❤️ Everyone, have a wonderful and safe New Year ✨️ Bring on 2023 🙌
