Please see the article below, if your pet’s microchip is registered with HomeSafeID you will need to re-register it with one of the other microchip providers as unfortunately HomeSafeID are ceasing trading which means the microchip number will no longer be able to be searched making it harder to reunite your pet quickly.

If you are unsure which company your pets microchip is registered you can check this on - www.petaddress.com.au

If the microchip is registered with HomeSafeID you can re-register the exsisting chip number on one of the other providers on their website such as Central Animal Records - www.car.com.au

This is also a good opportunity to ensure all your contact details are up to date to ensure your furr baby gets home to you as speedily as possible 🐾🐾

Microchip Pet Registry company, HomeSafeID, will soon cease to operate online.

What does this mean? 👇
If you know your pet is registered with HomeSafeID, you will need to change your microchip registration to another company 📝

If your pet's registration isn't updated, should they go missing or are found, vets/councils/animal shelters will no longer be able to view your pet’s ownership details listed on their microchip when it is scanned, making it difficult to reunite you!

If you don’t know your pet’s microchip number or have lost their paperwork with their registration details, contact your veterinarian, council or animal shelter. They can scan your pet and provide the microchip number.

If you adopted a pet from RSPCA with a HomeSafe ID registry or had a microchip implanted at a RSPCA Community Day, while we cannot update your pet’s microchip details for you, we can help you find your adoptee’s microchip number and answer any questions you may have on 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625) or your local shelter.

This old boy was found on Strathmore St in Kedron this afternoon. He is not microchipped. If you know or recognise him please call the clinic on 3359 1812.

Meet Boots a beautiful, friendly rescue Greyhound available for adoption.

Here is a bit of information from Boots's foster carer:

Boots is fully house trained. He loves being in the car, sleeps all night and is very affectionate. He has been left alone with another greyhound inside the house in aircon for up to 4 hours. He is a 2 1/2 years old blue boy. He walks easily on the lead and is very friendly with everyone. He is not tested with cats.

To our valued clients,
Going forward we are asking anyone wishing to collect prescription medication for their pet to please call the clinic and order it first. This allows the vets time to check, approve and prepare the medications. It also ensures we have the medication in stock and allows us time to order it in if we don't.
We appreciate your understanding with this matter.

Unfortunately we have had a cat brought in today that has been hit by a car on Kitchener Road and sadly deceased.
