Undisputed Queen of the House #Doracat #mylove Slán abhaile my beautiful Dora. You stole my heart as a confident and curious three week old foster kitten. And when the time came to find you your furever home I knew it couldn't be anywhere else but with me. It's been a week since you died in my arms, after struggling to stay with me for as long as you could. And the house you used to fill with cuddles and purrs feels less of a home without you. I miss you waking me up with a cold nose to the face at some unnaturally early hour of the morning. Or complaining that it was past your 6 p.m. dinner time, an event you could predict with millisecond accuracy. But most of all I miss your cuddles and seeing the love in your eyes. You always knew when I felt sad and would snuggle in a little closer to make me feel better. Something I could really do with right now. You fought so hard to stay with me as long as you could and I was never going to be ready to say goodbye. So after all these years of loyalty and love I can't begrudge you your rest now. Slán abhaile my Queen, my heart will always be yours 💔🌈

Evil eye or cat smile? You decide 😁 As a card carrying cat lady the 'cats are bad, dogs are good' stereotype really annoys me. But it's easy to see how the way cats communicate can be misunderstood. Especially when they can look so grumpy when they smile. While their half closed eyes is a sign that they want to show they're friendly as Lord is showing it's so very early to read as 'I'm really mad at you' No wonder our poor feline friends have a harder time with some humans than their doggy companions do. But then again maybe it's their way of weeding out the people they don't want to deal with 😄 Happy whiskers Wednesday furends 🥰

Should I be brave and say hello? 🙈 #newfosters Introducing bonded ragdolls Duke and Lord 🥰 These boys were found as strays and are on medication for cat flu. Lighter boy Duke is particularly bad and struggling to breathe but was so pleased to see me he rolled over for a belly rub as soon as he came out of his carrier. Dark faced Lord is more nervous and watches his brother closely before deciding to be brave. He is so bonded with his brother that he started to call out when Duke was removed from their pen in the shelter to go in the carrier first 😥 Hopefully they'll settle in quickly and will be feeling better in no time 🤞 Welcome to the family boys 🤗💝
