FERRIS & BUELLER TURN 12!! 🎈🎈

We celebrated the duos birthday today with birthday treaties.

Their pawrents bought in the boys favourite treats. Carrot & Watermelon to share with their daycare friends🍉 🥕

Having attended daycare since they were puppies we have learnt there quirks & traits…. Bueller always loves the camera! Whereas Ferris is quite camera shy 🙈 …. The duo enjoyed lots of cuddles & a birthday bath!

Our staff have been getting in the spooky spirit with the dogs today & enjoying themselves a little too much 😂🥳

This morning our large breeds have headed out to the park & the small dogs have been chasing all the toys inside & getting some spooky treats!

The sweetest ladies Barkday today!

Shadow has celebrated her 3rd Barkday with us today! She did enjoy some cake & cookies with her friend Napoleon & also got plenty of cuddles & attention.

Shadow also enjoyed a morning walk with her friends & extra cuddles throughout the day (although she normally does get lots of cuddles so that’s no different 😂)

‘Can I eat it yet?’ 🐾🫣😂

Napoleon is celebrating his Barkday with us today! He did a photoshoot this morning & is currently on a walk with his friends.

We will have a pawty to share out the cake his pawrents made for him & of course need to ensure his cousins get some too!

Napoleon will also get a bath to freshen up for lots of snuggles throughout the day & we’re sure tonight too when he gets home!

Simba had his 4th Barkday last week & we had a little pawty with some biccies in daycare. He enjoyed his day playing with his best friend Shadow & having a bath 🛁

Bonnie's birthday is not until Saturday, but we were happy to celebrate with her today!

Ziggy 🐾😊

Happy 4th Barkday to Ziggy!

Ziggy's pawrents brought in some cookie & donut treats for the pups to share around today! During the pawty, these were definitely a hit! As you can see, he definitely enjoyed having a little snack on them during is Barkday piccies!

Ziggy also went for a walk today, had bath & of course got all the love & attention he wanted. He did his favourite thing ever which was chase the ball & play fetch with the girls.

Bella 🥰

We had the pleasure of celebrating Bella’s 15th Barkday with her today!

Bella has been a regular at Oz Wagtails for the last 15 years & we have loved caring & loving her over the years 🥰 She has definitely worked her way into everyone’s hearts here & we all care for her deeply.

Today Bella got the freedom of using the retail store as a race track (which she does most times she is here), having her regular bath & blow dry (which she enjoys) & of course getting extra treats & cuddles from the staff (& mouthing us as much as she wants to!)

Bella’s beautiful pawrents brought in a Barkday cake & cookies to share around with her friends, we definitely will have a party this afternoon!

Attention Customers!

Please be aware that we will be having some driveway maintenance tomorrow throughout the day.

The driveway outside of Bob Jane will be having new concrete laid & bollards will be up for the next week. Please be cautious driving in & out of the complex & give way to other drivers.

We have urged previously to slow down in our driveway as it is a shared space with other businesses, not to mention dogs being walked around - however, it will be single lane in & out for the coming week.

Happy 1st Barkday to Lupin!

How adorable is little Lupin in his Barkday crown that his pawrents brought in with his homemade cake 🥰🐾

We will share around some cake & carrots with the puppers this afternoon for a big pawty! We had a little photoshoot for Lupin this morning with his cake (& he of course got some treats for sitting very well for his snaps) 🐾

Over the last few weeks, we have welcomed groups of students from UQ to take part in hands on experience at Oz Wagtails. These students are all on exchange from Japan and have been getting hands on with our daycare and grooming centre - learning different breeds and behaviours and getting to enjoy the environment. Each of these students are studying some form of Animal Care - from Dog Obedience, Vet Nursing, Veterinary Science, Dog Grooming, Zoology, Marine Science and so many more. Oz Wagtails has taken part in offering the program for many years but we have not had students in the centre since before Covid. Through this exchange program many years ago, Michiko - our very beloved Groomer came on board and stayed as an Oz Wagtails staff member. Today her school and teacher came through the centre with more students who very much enjoyed the experience. #ozwagtails #doggydaycare #exchange #exchangeprogram #uq #universityofqueensland
