We are a friendly, professional, caring veterinary practice who have been established in McDowall for over ten years and who thrive on providing the highest standard of quality care to our clients and their pets. We recognise the important role our pets play in our family structure and aim to keep them free of disease and full of health. When they do fall ill we aim to diagnose their condition as

quickly and cost effectively as possible and ensure that they return to full health promptly. Our Team
We are a young, enthusiastic, but experienced team (with over 30 years experience) who take pleasure in getting to know you and your pet personally and catering for your individual needs. We offer a full range of veterinary services including: dog training, free puppy school, X rays, ultrasound, vaccinations, all forms of surgery. We service all of Northern Brisbane, including McDowall, Albany Creek, Bridgeman Downs, Chermside, Aspley, Stafford, Stafford Heights, Everton Park, Everton Hills.

Say hello to this adorable little ginger bundle of energy, Neville George. Today, he had a very important appointment... castration day! 🐱
But don’t worry, he's a brave little adventurer, and he’ll be back to chasing toys and snuggling up in no time. 💛
We’re sending him all the good vibes for a speedy recovery and lots of belly rubs!

We had 'Enzo' the West highland terrier spend the day with us to investigate some urine issues🕵
Enzo (and Dr Gemma) were happy to hear there was nothing too concerning and his symptoms should clear up soon🐾😁

Meet Bonnie, our Pet of the Day!

Bonnie is a Wire Hair Fox Terrier and came in today for a blood test and desexing procedure 🐶🩺

She's as lovely as she is brave - taking everything in stride with a wagging tail.

Pet of the day is Gucci!🐶 This handsome boy came in today for desexing and was super brave for his procedure. Gucci is a super fashionable pup and loves a cuddle! He is also the newest member to join a special family of miniature dachshunds🐾 Gucci has stolen the hearts of all the staff here at Mcdowall Vet and we wish him all the best on his recovery💕

Sweet little Pip came in today for a dental scale & polish and some dental X-Rays 🦷
She was very happy to be at the vets and soaked up a lot of love from the whole team 💕
