This gorgeous boy is Archie.
He has been coming to Rebound for his rehabilitation sessions after his spinal surgery.
He needs a new family and we hope that our amazing community will help us find him his forever home.

Archie is a 3 year old French Bulldog who needs a family to help him heal and get strong after having spinal surgery. He’s a typical Frenchie who loves life, playing with his friends and will need a lowset home.

He is under the care of Safe Haven Animal Rescue at the moment.

Hydrotherapy
Therapy in our underwater treadmill has many benefits for our patients, whether they are recovering from orthopaedic or spinal surgery, have chronic pain from arthritis, need help to lose weight, or just want a fun way to improve fitness.
The gentle pressure of the water around the legs, assists with reducing inflammation and swelling and the warm water improves circulation to the muscles, increases joint and soft tissue flexibility, improves coordination and reduces pain.

We are happy to announce that from the end of the month, we are going to incorporate Electro-acupuncture (EA) to our services.
Conditions that respond really well to EA: OA and orthopaedic conditions, urinary problems (UTI, incontinence, dribbling…), digestive issues (IBD, sensitivity…), anxiety, and skin issues (allergies, dermatitis…)
Initial consultation is 60 minutes (30 min assessment + 30 min EA treatment), and follow-up sessions are 30 min EA treatment each. Assessment on the first visit is mandatory, because accurate Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment. That will give our therapist time to communicate with clients about setting expectations and signposting about the treatment procedure.
Jamie Moon, Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, will start to consult on Saturdays. If you want to book an appointment with her, please give us a call on 07 3899 1495, indicating that you want to book for an EA session.

These are called Cavaletti poles, perhaps familiar to the horse-loving people among us 🐴 They are a simple way of improving our patient's coordination, muscle strength and balance. A vital everyday activity as we re-teach the body to recognise that if there is an obstacle in the way, we have to lift our feet over it, so we don’t trip.

Look how happy our client Panda is after treatment!! Panda is an elderly lady with arthritis. She comes in every 2-3 wks for hydrotherapy (easier exercise for her creaky bones). She also has some acupuncture when she needs an extra boost which as you can see makes her feel like a pup again
