We are a small but highly successful and dedicated showing/breeding home located in Brisbane. Our belief is that TYPE & TEMPERAMENT come before COLOUR ! We breed the two correct coat types being Horse coat and Brush coat and although we do not actively breed for any ' in vogue' color it is possible to have these colours pop up from time to time. Above all else the perfect match for our little Pei'
s is of paramount importance and that they only go to a loving home where they will be cared for all of their lives xx

To say that Freddie just keeps on blowing us away is an understatement.. He is just 7months & 24 days of age which is hard to believe when you look at what he has accomplished to date.
In just 1 month and 24 days of point scoring against the “Big Kids” to their 8 months
Freddie has flown up the leaderboard to sit in the number 2 position in the National Breed Challenge Leaderboard..‼️
He is very comfortably leading in the National Breed Rising Star Leaderboard in the
Number 1 position and is ALSO holding the Number 1 position in the state for all breeds Group 7.
⭐️ We could not ask for more .. just WOW ⭐️

We’re so thankful to all of the judges who awarded Freddie on his way to becoming an Australian Champion.
He did this in record time, just 24 days and at the age of just 6 months.

We’re so proud of Freddie our “Minor Puppy” who was bumped up automatically to the “Puppy” class this weekend due to the CACIB and 1-4 placements.
Freddie took BEST IN GROUP 1st place
under Judge Mrs M Hobson and then a
Puppy in Group 1st under Mrs S Watherston.
This is a major achievement to win
Best in Group from a Puppy Class considering he was up against multiple Supreme Champion Dogs.
He joins his Aunt GiGi in this honour.
The future is extremely bright for Freddie 🏆
He’s cheeky and VERY spirited that’s for sure.! Freddie is like no other Shar-Pei we have ever bred or owned.
With this much personality and exuberance, when he finally settles into being a show dog he’s going to be a star for sure.
Today marks Freddie’s 6 month birthday.
He now graduates to Minor Puppy where he will compete with the big kids.
He’s had a stellar start to his show career, dominating the “Baby Puppy” class.
Freddie is now “Point Scoring” and on his way to become an Australian Champion🏆
And….. Happy 6 months little man 🥳🎂

During a recent discussion about the term 'Tulip Ears' used to describe the curled back ear tips of Shar-Pei, I realised that the term's origin and original meaning were unclear.
Could someone who has been familiar with the breed longer than I provide clarification on when the term was first used and what it referred to at that time?
At the end of our discussion we agreed that we are not aware of it being written in any Breed Standard globally.

13 weeks of age 😊
Building the outdoor kennel runs has been a great decision! The position takes advantage of shade and captures the beautiful mountain breeze.
There are six 3-meter wide by 50-meter long spacious runs for the dogs to get plenty exercise.
These are just their day runs with nights being spent at the house 🏡 🐶🩵
We couldn’t ask for more from a 12 week old puppy.
Just look at how promising Freddie is at this age 🩵😃.!

Freddie is a challenge to train with all his Sass and extreme cuteness but slowly does it.
