Litters planned January 2025!

Ochaye are excited to announce our January 2025 litter plans with two exciting litters.

We are planning on welcoming babies in both Qld and in SA with one of our gorgeous girls remaining with her current family in SA to whelp her babies.

We have a 7 week old tailed black tri boy from our Armstrong x Whiskey litter available due to a change in circumstances.
He will come with eye check by a veterinarian ophthalmologist, DNA test, first vaccines, microchip and a comprehensive puppy pack to set you up for success with an Ochaye family member.

He is a sweet puppy, very smart and people focused making him a quick learner! He would thrive in a home wanting to try sports like obedience or tricks, already making great progress with learning sit and touch.
He’s also raised with our toddler and loves playing with him. He would be a great calm family dog.

Through no fault of his own this sweet boy from our Armstrong x Whiskey is now available to a loving home.

He’s currently 6 weeks and will be ready to go home from the 31st of July. He has had his first vaccines and has passed his vet check with flying colours. He will have his eyes checked by a veterinarian ophthalmologist and comes with a comprehensive puppy pack.

Our Armstrong x Whiskey pups are 6 weeks today and they are growing so fast!

They have been enjoying their time outside playing around and this week they will be having their vet visits to get ready to go to their forever homes.

Our Whiskey x Armstrong puppies are almost 4 weeks and they got to enjoy their first outing outside. Lots of new smells and sights and they loved it.

Apart from welcoming two beautiful litters, the team Ochaye had an amazing time at the Australian Shepherd Specialty Shows of QLD earlier this month in a lovely supported entry of 88 dogs under breed specialists Herdis Hallmarsdottir (Undralands - Iceland) for Show 1 and Judy Harrington (Propwash - USA) for Show 2.

A bit late to update but our Armstrong x Whiskey babies have arrived safely and doing great.

At this stage all puppies are spoken for.

After evaluations we have decided to make our NBT black tri boy from the Etsy x Boss litter available to a loving home.
He has had his first vaccines, vet check, microchip and is full of life.

We’re excited to announce that Whiskey has been confirmed pregnant.

This litter is something we had planned for a while and we cannot wait to welcome them early June. We are expecting all four colours.

Both parents have produced lovely temperaments and we expect these puppies to be suited to family life. Loving their people and enjoying some cuddles and family time.

Like all our Aussies they will only be available to homes who can guarantee they will be part of the family.

Our Etsy x Boss puppies are 3 weeks!

Puppies are growing so fast! Eyes are open and ears are starting to open.

Yesterday was a day of many firsts. First time on grass, first time getting wormed, first of many photoshoots.

Please note: at this stage all pups have loving homes eagerly waiting to welcome them.

Over the weekend our Etsy (Sup CH Ochaye By Design) welcomed 7 beautiful pups to Boss (CH Ochaye A Dogs Journey)

Mum and pups are doing well.

We’re excited to announce our first litter of the year!

This will be a lovely cross between our girl Etsy - Sup Ch Ochaye By Design and our co-owned boy Boss - Ch Ochaye A Dogs Journey

Puppies are due to be born end of April, looking to leave to their forever homes around end of June.

Etsy is a sweet girl, she loves her cuddles, food and being around people. We expect these puppies to be suited to family life.

Like all our Aussies they will only be available to homes who can guarantee they will be part of the family.

At Ochaye we do not breed for colour, we will be selecting their perfect homes based on temperament, not their coat colour!

Puppies are raised in our home as part of our family and are exposed to our other dogs and our little human!

Puppies will leave us at 8wks and will be vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, DNA tested, and registered with Dogs Qld. All puppies will go on desexing terms and are not for breeding!

This lovely boy is looking for his forever home. Teaser is a blue Merle NBT boy bred by our friend Wajoma from our imported boy Twix.

Teaser is a sweet and very switched on boy. He loves playing in the water and getting cuddly. He’s currently 9 weeks and ready to go home.

Through no fault of his own, Sabre is looking for a new home!

He is 3.5years old and spent most of his life travelling around Western Australia with his owners. He is great in the car, easy to bath & blow dry, loves to go on walks and spend time with people.

He is currently housed with 5 other adult Aussies, both male & female and has fitted in well.
