Good morning Pup-A-Razzi family 😊
I’m writing with a bit of personal news for you.
After nearly two years of owning this AMAZING business I have decided to sell, and hand it over to a beautiful lady, Melissa. And I’m so excited to see her grow this business to a full time job.
My full time day job is becoming increasingly busy, and THIS business is taking off and I can’t keep up. It has been an emotional decision for me as I absolutely love this job (how can you not with all those puppas) and will miss you all. I’d like to thank you all, from the bottom of my soul for your continued support over these last couple of years, I’ve made some great friendships and have met hundreds of dogs, and proud to say that I haven’t had one bad client. You all adore your fur babies and it makes my heart so happy!!
Thank you for being a part of this amazing journey, it’s been an absolute pleasure. I cannot express how grateful I am to have watched your puppa’s grow with confidence.
Most of you have met Melissa over this last month and she is the perfect fit for this business amd I believe in her, I was very picky on who I sold it to!! Melissa will carry on this business with the same professionalism and joy, and I have every confidence that you will find her to be the right fit for your puppa too!
I will still be following and loving all the posts that she puts up on here and look forward to seeing all the dogs I will miss.
Everything as far as the business will stay exactly the same including the phone number. She will message you to confirm appointments as per usual, the only thing that will change is banking details.
Please welcome Melissa if you haven’t met her yet, and give your puppa’s a hug for me.

I saw this post on a Canine Enrichment page and thought it’s a great idea to share if your dog needs stimulation after surgery! 🐶 ❤️

Hello all!

My boy Artie has just had a hip replacement surgery so is on strict rest for 6 weeks. But I did something today that he just loved so I thought I'd share.

Artie's favourite thing is sniffing every tree on walks.. so today I walked our usual route to the park and along the way, I used cut up pieces of cloth and rubbed them on the trees and grass around the streets and park. I then brought them home and gave them to Artie. He sniffed them for about 15 minutes and then fell asleep on one.

I don't want him to miss out on all the fun smells in our neighbourhood while he can't go on walks ❤ it really tired him out and he was wagging his tail while he checked all the p*e mail he's missed in the last week.

I'm so glad you all liked the idea 🙂 I'm so, so happy that others might try this for their doggos ❤❤

And finally, yes, I did get a few funny looks in the park and on the street 😂. No one asked what I was doing though (luckily because I'm sure that explaining it would have made people think I was even more weird). But I can say it was worth it and I'll definitely be doing it again.

Approximately ten percent of adopted dogs are returned to the rescue they were adopted from within six months.

Allow your rescue dog time to adjust. The truth is the adjustment period wholly depends on your dog’s personality and history. It could be days, weeks, or even months.

Set clear boundaries and training practices from the beginning. Don’t allow your dog to steal food in week 1 and then flag it as an issue in week 4. You can’t blame your dog for breaking the rules if you haven’t set any to begin with!

Work closely with your vet and shelter to solve problem behavior. Whatever the case may be, most problem behaviors in rescue dogs are entirely solvable with calm, consistent training.

Research about choosing the right rescue dog for you 😊 🐶 ❤️
