Lucky hasn’t been very lucky and has been waiting 2 years and 5 months to find a home 😭😭

My name is Lucky and I shall be glad to meet you if you have space in your heart for me.!
I’m a little guy but have a feisty personality!

Some might say I have little kitty syndrome; I think I’m just a tough guy in disguise. They tell me I’m 8 years old, which may be old in cat years, but I’ve got the energy of a much younger kitty. I’m a bit shy at first and would need time to check out my surroundings – once that mission is completed I’ll be playing all sorts of games.

My current foster brother is pretty chill, but when I’m ready to play he’s always up for the challenge. We play tag, hide and seek, pounce and bounce and chase the rattle ball. If I did have a cat friend, they would need to understand that I had a bit of a rough time before coming into foster care, so I would just need some time to settle and find my groove.
Pats are only welcomed when I want, I will let you know when it’s time by giving you lots of hints like following you everywhere, head butts - lots of head butts.

I love having my ears massaged, I actually LOVE head massages, not so keen on the whole fully body massage – so let’s just keep it all above the shoulders please!

I think I’m pretty low maintenance, I’m toilet trained and not one to cry and winge at you all day. No problems with being left at home alone, once you return you will find me chilling & resting from an extra hard day of CHILLING AND RESTING.

Introducing Peanut - the Street Cat no longer!!

Peanut was found living on the streets a few months ago by one of Happy Tails founders. We know he was living on the streets for at least six months but prior to that we don't know much about Peanut.

This beautiful boy has come so far in his foster home. When he first arrived he had no manners, didnt like attention and spent most of his time alone. He is now liking pats, follows and observes his foster Mum across the house and his manners are improving each day.!

He has also learnt to play with toys and other animals!

Peanut loves playing and doing zoomies around the house with the resident dog and the cat! It's very entertaining.

His absolute favourite thing in the world is food. He will eat anything and will let you know when it’s dinner time.

Peanut is a low maintenance little guy that wants a home with patient people who will let him shine in his own time.

🆘 URGENT FOSTER CARERS NEEDED🆘

Both Ollie and Bingo are at risk of euthanasia in a NSW pound if we cannot find foster carers. We will provide transport to you if you live in South East QLD/ Northern NSW region.

Bingo (first picture). He is approx 8 months old, cattle dog x. He is reportedly great with other dogs and is vaccinated and chipped.

Ollie (second picture) is approx 3 years old. He is greyhound x and is desexed and vaccinated. He is great with other dogs.

The above information is the only information provided by the pound so we are unsure if they are friendly with cats.

Say hello to Burrito!! Can you believe he has been waiting 12 months for a forever home? 🥺🌯

The most handsome boy you’ll ever meet!! Burrito really is the most lovely, chill boy. He is not phased by anyone or anything. He is very curious and loves to seek out new things to play with or sit on. Loves a good nap in the cupboard.

Burrito loves to play and has been living with two other kitties (one cat and one kitten), his human siblings (two girls 9 and 11) and a little outside dog. While he loves people and his animal friends, he is very independent and is quite happy to do his own thing.

He loves affection and will happily sit on your lap for a snuggle. Burritto is a well-rounded, beautiful boy who would be suited to either a family or single person. He has the softest fur and the fluffiest tailand loves a good brush and pat.

This sweet & handsome dude has been waiting over a YEAR and still no forever home in sight 🥺😭💔

Marlon is super playful and enjoys zoomies around the home, especially once he notices you’re aware or after his dinner.

Marlon is still young and getting used to all sorts of noises and may hide for a short period of time if he gets spooked but he is getting more confident every day.

He is the most loving and snuggly boy - Marlon will often bump his head into you and will flop on his side or back to ask for more pats. His purr is the cutest!
Marlon loves his food and while you prep his meals, he will try to remind you with a tiny little meow to put enough into his bowl.

Marlon has adjusted well to living with our 26kg Lab. He doesn’t mind being close to his foster sister and is quite confident while it’s on his terms. Mostly untested with kids. Marlon has met a 1 year old once and was very inquisitive to begin with however with too much loud noise preferred to spend time on his own rather than hanging around.

He loves affection but is also happy to do his own thing. He’s funny, cheeky and smoochy - the perfect little kitty.

This beautiful little boy is only 17 weeks old but he has experienced some pretty tough times already!

He was recently surrendered to one of our regional vet clinics with his brothers. He spent his first 14 weeks of life in a car with his brothers while their owners have faced tough times. But he is now ready for a new start!

He is lovely kitten, him and his brothers love to tell you when they are hungry or if they want more pats! They are fairly confident kittens and like to explore their environment. Once they’ve done some exploring they are ready for cuddles!

They are your typical kittens, love to play and wrestle, be apart of everything that’s going on in the house then enjoy a cuddle on the couch!

At 2 years old, this sleek black panther has overcome life’s hurdles with grace, thanks to the kindness of our amazing supporters who helped fund his surgery.

Now fully recovered, Amber is ready to find a forever home where he can bask in the sunshine by a window and snooze the day away.

At night, he loves to curl up close, offering the sweetest companionship.

Though he's selective with feline friends (he prefers a home to himself or with a gentle, welcoming cat), Amber is nothing short of purr-fection. Cats tend to pick on him and he gets scared, submissive, gentle cats that would welcome him are what would suit him!

This beautiful girl is facing euthanasia at an overflowing rural pound if we cannot put a save on her.

She is approx 6 years old. The pound has said she is the friendliest dog you will ever meet. She has a few allergies due to skin conditions and has a few skin tags, which Happy Tails will be able to assist with once in a foster home. She loves both people and dogs however is untested with cats. She has been vaccinated and microchipped.
