Thank you to our Feline models Potato and Mao showing off the comfortable body suit post desexing. They come with and without legs, making them ideal for all surgery including major lump removals and leg surgery. ❤️#petbodysuit #copperbodysuit #petsurgery
Rescue dogs are super special. Meet 3mo Beau incidental finding of a foreign body on xray. Laparotomy today seems Beau swallowed a bottle top. Lots of hugs and cuddles prior to and after surgery....
Ever had one of those days..... when puppies just don't have boundaries..... and big brothers are so patient....🤣
Our receptionist Patrycia keeps us and our clients laughing 🤣🤣🤣
When your client sends you this thankyou and video... This is Toby our 7 year old Labradoodle who back in May ruptured his left ACL followed 2 wks later with his right one as well. We live in Central Qld where surgery for this type of injury is not available for a dog Toby’s size. The only option offered locally was euthanasia . Fast forward 6 months and being an impressive 10kg lighter, Toby is finally back to his normal life looking brighter and healthier than he’s ever looked.
We can not thank Dr Damien and the great team at BPS enough for the care and attention, not to mention the expertise you showed Toby on his 2 trips down to see you for MMP surgery.
For anyone else in a similar situation I would highly recommend the trip down to Brisbane. It’s given our Toby a new lease on life.
It was September 2020 and at just 6.2kg and 9 years of age little Oliver and his family raced to save his life after being run over by a car. He was taken to emergency and transferred to us the following day. Our staff transferred him to BVSC for urgent imaging with paralysis in hind limbs. His prognosis was dire, not only were his abdominal organs herniated requiring repair, he also had pelvic fractures. There was only one option for his owners, fight for Oliver and he was transferred back to us. He had multiple surgeries over several days. Thanks to his dedicated owners, Oliver eventually gained movement back in his tail and was able to walk again. His left hind remained paralysed and was amputated February 2021. Well this little fighter is very special to us and he came for a visit today. We love you Oliver❤️❤️❤️
