Before diving into the exciting news about our new groomer joining the team, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and my daughter Leo, to all our new clients we’ve received in the past 12 months, and also share a personal update with all of you. As some of you may know, I was away most of last year due to a serious accident that had a significant impact on my family. During that time, I made the difficult decision to step back from work and focus on supporting my family through the challenges we faced.
However, just as things were starting to settle down and I was able to announce finally returning to the salon. I received some unexpected news. I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. While I am incredibly grateful that it is benign, it has still come with some challenging symptoms like chronic headaches, migraines, and discomfort in my eyes due to pressure and tension.
Despite the close proximity to my optic nerve, there hasn’t been any additional vision impairment beyond what I already have as of yet and my doctor is very optimistic that we can manage this with the right medication, and hopefully avoid surgery. However, there’s still a possibility that surgery may be necessary, potentially within this year.
For the time being, I’ll be at the salon most days, but there may be occasions when I need to reschedule appointments last minute due to how I’m feeling. Please know that I’ll always do my best to be there for you and your furry kids,
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your kindness and understanding during this challenging time. Your support means everything to me, and even though it’s started rough, I’m genuinely excited for the year ahead, filled with positivity and new opportunities.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your understanding means the world to me
Thank you for being the best part of our salon community! 💕
