Today, 18 years ago, I arrived to Australia on my own and with one 23kg piece of luggage to stay for good. I came here on a skills residence visa as a journalist which I worked as for 15 years back in my home country, Colombia. Never ever in my wildest dreams did I think I was going to end up working with animals, let alone as a pet groomer. And here I am. Loving every second of it! I'm so lucky to be in this beautiful country which I now call home. Thank you Australia for the beautiful life I have!

From now on, I'll throw some pics of me throughout my life in posts called "Know your groomer". I was probably 20 years old here.
