This afternoon we said goodbye to our darling Tootsie, our permanent foster, 1 year and 9 days after my very own Mickey passed away. It's come as a shock as he declined terribly in less than a day. The vet said it was time. Needless to talk about the pain we are going through now. A piece of our heart goes with them, never to return. Tootsie, find Mickey and watch over us together. Thank you for the beautiful memories.

Hello all! I need your eyes please. Freyja is missing from the top of Simpsons Rd in Bardon. Small black and white mini schnauzer. Very friendly but will also run away. She escaped in the big storm. Check your home as she may have gone in to a yard to hide from the rain. Please let me know if you see her!

Today, I found a tick on Cookie. It was buried close to his mouth. It's seems like it's an unfed female paralysis tick, which can be deadly to dogs. I used a special tool to take it out with care as you can't disattach its head from the body. It came out completely and placed in a sealed bag with alcohol gel to give to his humans so they could seek vet advice as to what to do next. We're starting to have warmer days now, and ticks are around. Make sure you keep the tick medication up to date and keep running your hands all over their body to check for them, especially between pads and toes, close to mouth and ears.

El gatito Eli is leaving Brisbane and will embark on a road trip all over Australia with his mum and fellow doggie, Piggy. I've been grooming him for 4 years. I'll miss them all!!

Preparing my heartfelt farewell presents for my costumers who have lost their pets. It's a terribly sad moment for the families and for me as I've lost my dear friends. These candles keep their light going in death, as bright as it was in life.
