Wooo hooo!!!! We have a NEW colour being added to our collection π±ππ€―
Check out this GORGEOUS Sky Blue leather that was delivered yesterday!!!
Not only are we adding this colour to our collection but I am also in the process of redesigning the website to allow a new Mix 'n' Match system where you will be able to choose multiple different colours in the bundles options rather than just having one colour for the entire set.
This will offer a new variety and more combinations depending on your choices of colour.
To check out the newest Mix 'n' Match system head over to our website using the think below but keep in mind I am still in the process of changing it around so please be patient during this transition.
Many thanks,
Tamz

My hungry little lawn mower having a munch on some clovers before we mow the lawn πππ
I often get asked "What can we do to help our reptile adjust to their harness?".
I know we've touched on other tips in the past such as using treats when the harness is in use and how to put the harness on them in the least stressful way that I've personally found but another thing you can do is teach your reptile that it's ok to play with/touch their feet.
This may seem a little weird but it helps them adjust to their feet being touched when you need to guide their legs through the leg holes of the harnesses. It can drastically destress the situation because they won't freak out when you go to put the harness on.
All I do for Phoebe is play with and stroke her feet for a little bit every time she's out and she's now grown use to me doing it so I can now touch her feet without causing her any distress. You can also use treats in this situation as well so that they can associate their feet being touched with positive things.
This can also help when it comes to nail clipping, bath times and any vet/medical situations that may arise in which their feet could be injured.
Overall it's never a bad idea to desensitise your dragon to having their feet touched, it will help you and them in the long run should any relevant situations arise in which you need to touch their feet π
Little Miss Phoebe had some fun digging around in the dirt before the storm came over this afternoon ππ
This is just another way that the harnesses can allow them to do what they naturally love to do. Dig, hunt and forage, the sort of things that they can sometimes be limited in doing when in their enclosures.
This helps them stay in touch with their natural instincts and is lots of fun for them and so satisfying to watch as their human because you know they are having fun and are getting the mental and physical enrichment they so very much deserve β€

Hey everyone,
After many, many hours of redesigning the website I am so excited to announce the arrival of our new XXL 19cm Harness and our XS 8cm Pygmy Harness which are both now available here and on our website.
Due to adding in the 2 new sizes we have had to change the layout of the website a little to accommodate the changes. Instead of the options being advertised by their colour, they are now advertised by their sizes and then you can choose the colour from the dropdown menu.
We have also created new categories for every option available on our product page so if you know what style you're after then you can click on either the Single Layer, Double Layer or our Pygmy Ranges on the left and from there you can find the size you want.
Hopefully this video can help explain the new changes and as always if you have any questions please dont hesitate to reach out.
Many thanks,
Tamz.

Are you wondering how to go about putting your harness on your reptile? What's the best/easiest way?
Although every reptile is different, some squirm more than others, this has been the easiest way I've found to put the harness on Phoebe.
Lay it flat and place them just behind it facing away from you (so you're behind them). From here you'll be able to see where their legs need to go through the leg holes, sometimes you might need to tuck a toe or two in to get them in. I find that once the first leg is in, if I pull it all the way up into her armpit this will give the second leg a bit more room to manoeuvre into the other leg hole. Sometimes I also start with one side clipped up already but thats not a must, more of a personal preference I guess.
For those that like to squirm, sometimes using their favourite treats can help the process and it also allows them to associate the harnesses with positive things like treats or going outside.
If your dragon is restless remember to keep your voice calm, if after a few goes you find that it is starting to stress them out and their iust wiggling way too much then stop and try again later. Sometimes using them in short bursts in the start is the best way to go even if you can only get one leg in, thats fine, treat them any way because they've still made some improvement no matter how small of a step it was.
Phoebe isn't always this calm when it's time to put the harness on but those are the days where I know to back off a little and just have some snuggles
I've also noticed that sometimes it can be a good idea to get your reptile comfortable with you touching their feet, this will help immensely when it comes to trying to guide them into the leg holes π
Hopefully these little tips combined with the video attached will help those who are curious to know.
Many thanks,
Tamz and Phoebe.
Wowie guys!!! Its just dawned on me that we are only 10 likes away from reaching 800 page likes π±π€―
As a thank you to everyone that has followed us on our journey and those yet to join, I have decided to run a little competition since our last one was quite a while ago.
Once we reach 800 page likes I will make an announcement post with all the details and information needed for the competition.
Until then though, Phoebe and I are off to enjoy some more sunlight and clovers whilst the rain is at bay.
Happy Sunday everyone!!!
Heya everyone,
The new year means new adventures so whilst Phoebe was happily adventuring in our yard I thought I'd jump on and let you know what's going on.
So firstly, our Etsy shop has now closed it is still active but there are no active listing's. As you know this was due to the launch of our new website so until our new business cards arrive please dismiss the Etsy link that is on the front and go straight to the website using the link below to find everything you will need to place an order.
https://tamzharnesses.com
Secondly, now that Christmas and New Years has been and gone our Limited Edition Santa and Grinch Sets are no longer available and have been removed from the website.
And lastly, in the coming days I will be trying to take some fresh product photos of 2 new editions that we will be adding to the mix. I won't say what they are now but I will say that these 2 editions are only available while stocks last!!!
I hope you all had a great night last night and best wishes for a fantastic year to come!!!
Many thanks,
Tamz and Phoebe.
My precious little snuggle bug ππ₯°β€
Have spent the weekend setting up my new work station/Phoebe's room, it's still a work in progress but for now its time for cuddles.
Hope everyone has had a great weekend and is ready for another working week ahead?!
My little lawn mower devouring all the chemical free clovers in her garden whilst enjoying some time out in the natural sun πππ
Our harnesses are designed to offer added safety and security to our fun filled adventures outside so our reptilian friends can soak up their much needed, direct natural UV light.
It is important to keep in mind that whilst these harnesses do offer an extra safety precaution it is absolutely vital to supervise their activities for the duration in which the harness is being used to reduce the possible risk of entanglement or escape.
It is also of utmost importance to make sure that the clovers (or any wild plant) your beardies eat come from a safe, well known area that is free of all chemicals and pesticides.
CHECK IT OUT!!!!! π±
Did you know that not only can our beloved Beardies use our amazing harnesses but they are that versatile that even your Sand Monitors can use them too!!!!!
Take a look at how well Leah's beautiful Sandie can fit in to them π
