Spring weather is here!!!

We are topping 30-32 degrees this week 🥵 so spring is definitely here!
We currently have spots from the 2nd of September & will be starting a waitlist for before hand.
If your dog has been holding onto their winter coat alittle too long and it’s time for a spring make over, Book now! To avoid having to wait weeks in advance like our summer 🌺 season.

September school holidays are booked out except the Mondays 16th , 23rd & 30th still have spots!

UPDATE: POSITION FILLED

CASUAL DOG WASHER POSITION CAPALABA

We are looking for a casual dog washer to join our team at Capalaba. Must be available 8-4pm (finishing times vary from day to day) Monday to Friday and a Saturday here and there.
Would suit a school leaver or someone fit with a strong back who can handle lifting larger dogs and confident in working around all dogs. MUST BE RELIABLE & CAN WORK IN A FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT.

I took my dogs for a lovely walk this afternoon… times like this I’m glad I was in walking distance to the salon for a bath!! Macy was not going back into my car. I wasn’t expecting to be bathing dogs at 6:30pm!

My 12 year old son ‘Tyler’ helped out today in the salon. He whipped an advertisement. Who needs to pay for professional videos! It perfectly shows us busy working the Christmas 🎄 rush! I was very impressed.

Little Ollie came for playgroup today. He was a little nervous at drop off which lasted only a couple of minutes until he became great friends with the gentle Giant ‘Everest’ the Bernese Mountain Dog. Also loved a good tug of war game

We made a rainbow 🌈 puppy today! Super happy on how it turned out. Daisy is adorable 🥰 and definitely will draw attention now.

NEW HARNESSES, POO BAGS, LEASHES & CHEW BONES!

We aren’t a regular salon, We are a cool 😎 salon ! The dogs Love ❤️ coming to us to be pampered & have a play date

Hehe we had 2 puppy dachshunds in today! What a great way for them to experience socialisation in a grooming salon at once! Freeway & Harley 🥰 loved every minute of it (around Megan’s feet!) lol 😂

OODLES OF OODLES & NEW BOOKING INFORMATION WE GET IT! WE LOVE ❤️ OODLES TOO! BUT we are needing to make a change due to the high volume of these breeds coming in every day. Although there’s a lot of customers already doing the right thing being on a regular schedule some are not. NEW CUSTOMERS WILL NEED TO BOOK 3 x grooming appointments- If they fail to come or cancel a 50% cancellation or no show fee will be applied. These dogs need grooming & brushing weekly at home, not just when they come into the salon. They all have different coats & a majority of customers want “The Teddy Bear look” or a “Puppy Cut”. If your dog has knots it’s takes ALOT preparation to complete the look you’re after. That time needs to be past down with the cost of the groom. We are now asking all oodles to go onto a 2-8 week schedule. 8 weekly is for only short shaves. If you want the fluffy teddy bear look your grooming schedule will more look like a 4 weekly schedule. If you are thinking about buying one of these breeds you must consider this in the purchase of your dog (which these days are roughly $3-6k to the breeders) that you need to remember grooming is ESSENTIAL FOR ROUGHLY 16 YEARS. So ask if you can also afford the on going cost. This is for the most common- #Cavoodles, #Spoodles, #Poodles, #Smoodles, #Schnoodles, #Labradoodle, #Groodles, #Tamaruke’s, #Cobberdogs, #Lagottos, #Moodles, Any Oodle.
