Please help us get Fleck and Buster ready for their forever homes.
We have a phenomenal raffle happening with 4 donated original paintings by Theresa Clare!
We are hoping to raise $2000 for Fleck and Busters gelding and also pay the balance of their vet bills, which will include meds, dental, health check, vaccinations, microchip and also hooves trimmed, DNA test and branding.
Tickets are $10 each, and the raffle will be drawn on the 28th November

We are a not for profit organisation and all money donated by supporters and sponsors go towards the upkeep and care for the Brumbies at Mountain Brumby Sanctuary, and volunteers who share with the care of our Brumbies! we could not do any of this without your support.

It was a very busy day on Tuesday, Regina had a scan to see how far pregnant she is... so we should here the pitta patta of little hooves soon. Alis and My Lord, had their teeth checked out and both needed their wolf teeth removed, Prince had his teeth checked and cleaned, but has only 1 wolf tooth broken through, they were also vaccinated and microchipped. While Sparrow came through with flying colours and only needed her teeth filed, which is a great result,
so all in all a good day.

We are really happy to announce that our 2025 calendar will be available to purchase at the end of November... we hope we get the same response as last year, which was great 💙🩵 if you would like to preorder let us know and we will put your name on the list! The calendars are A3 and have beautiful brumbies in them the cost is $25 plus $15 postage if we need to post them to you

We believe that we need to remind people of who we are at Mountain Brumby Sanctuary this is our
Mission Statement – The Mountain Brumby Sanctuary (MBS) is concerned with the preservation and protection of Australian Wild Brumby horses by providing a safe sanctuary for the horses removed from their habitats by forced means. The ultimate goal of the MBS is to train brumbies for the purpose of rehoming them to the general public and providing sanctuary for those that cannot be trained and rehomed.
(1.3) Objectives of the Association are to:
∙ Save brumbies in immediate danger of slaughter;
∙ Provide safe sanctuary to brumbies who cannot be rehomed;
∙ Train brumbies for the purpose of rehoming;
∙ ∙ Raise funds on a national scale to support the Brumbies in our care
Activities of the MBS should focus on the brumbies in our care to train and prepare them for domestic life by:
• Handling them so they are accustomed to human touch and company • Promoting brumbies in our care to rehomers;
• Training brumbies in our care to accept human leadership and prepare them for domestic life.
And we could not do this without our wonderful volunteers, sponsors and supporters

Congratulations to Sue Kearvell on winning 1st prize, a beautiful pastel painting of the mare and foal donated by Wendy Reiss. 2nd prize to Maree Sura who won the beautiful print of My Lord donated by Sarah Kearvell and 3rd prize to Jenni Cooper who won the beautiful black and white print of Alis, donated by Sarah Kearvell
Thank you to everyone who has participated in this fundraiser to raise money for hay.
It is greatly appreciated. We raised $1050 selling 105 tickets 💙🩵

The raffle has now closed, 105 tickets were sold, so $1050 to go towards hay.
Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets it is greatly appreciated, and of course the brumbies will love the hay.

Passed Kosciusko National Park. All roads are still locked by gates. Counted all together 22 Brumbies. One Gray stallion on his own close to Kindra. 6 wild horses a bit further down and than we found 1 herd where 15 Brumbies grazed peaceful. A few foals included. I am heartbroken, hardly any brumbies left and than parks announced to start shooting again. All the way down KNPS there was no sign of horse poo. Normally there was lots. I am wondering what can we do to save the last few Brumbies from getting shot?

Just over 24hrs to go, before our raffle closes and is drawn on Saturday, we are halfway there having sold 75 tickets, thank you so much to those of you who have bought tickets.
There was a mistake in the spelling of Sarah Kearvells surname...Equine Perceptions, who took the amazing photographs of the 2 foal prints.

1 week to go, before our raffle is drawn, with 56 tickets sold! Thank you to all you wonderful peeps who have bought tickets so far, there are 94 tickets left, and the draw is next Saturday.

The $1500 that we are trying to raise is for 1 months supply of hay for our brumbies, in actual fact it isto pay for last months hay. If only gratitude could buy our hay, we would be rolling in it. So please like and share this post so we can reach our $1500 goal.

Winners will be notified asap. 1st prize is a day at the sanctuary, with a champagne picnic, enjoy meeting the brumbies, and interacting with the foals.
