Week two of crate training and cat exposure and everyone is very relaxed around each other.
This week will be vet check and microchipping.
Hopefully we can get through a few aptitude tests during the week and start on more play games going into next week.

That introduction could have gone a lot worse. So far the cats have been tolerating the pups really well and at 5 weeks the pups lack the confidence to be to bouncy.

Almost 5 weeks and steaming along. There are some strong personalities shining through with this litter.

After a very long night on Friday of wait and see Missy finally delivered her first pup at approximately 11am Saturday morning, a very healthy young girl. By 3.30 pm that same afternoon we decided that intervention was required as she appeared very inert in her efforts and a call was made.
4:10pm Saturday made our way to Numurkah vets to meet Frank and by 5pm after many options discussed in the best interests of the mum and pups and another pup whelped but not able to be revived I agreed to a c-section. I could continue with a lot more detail let’s just say I was very grateful to see Peter (another vet) come in to check his pet patients and help Frank and myself because “Pass, revive and rub” with 10 pups coming your way is frantic yet very exhilarating at the same time.

Mum and pups now home and all are happy healthy and Missy is doing a great job caring for all.
