As you may have noticed, I've been extremely quiet on here for a bit and for that I'm sorry but as of today, I'll be closing down this small business of mine. At present, this will be a permanent close.
I just don't have the time for this anymore along with the passion or motvation to do so since started working part time,

Thank you all for the past 3 years of supporting a dream of mine and a passion that I had,
Thank you all for the past cilents who have trusted me with their homes/pets and more, it has been a wonderful adventure and a big learning experaince in working for myself, managing money/public transport, learning about taxes, insurance and so much more,!

Thanks again πŸ₯°

Have a lovely Christmas and New Years πŸ₯°

Meow meow meow!

Un-fur-tunately these little ones and their mumma were handed into a local vet on Wednesday afternoon and we would love to reunite them with their owner.

She has not been microchipped nor registered.

There are five kittens about four weeks old.

This is timely reminder to please register and microchip your pets.

If you are considering adopting or buying a pet please remember it is a lifelong responsibility and all animals deserve a caring and loving home.

Please give our Rangers a call on 9792 7106 if these furry felines belong to you.

Help us! This is Hank (though he may have been given a new name)
Hank is a desexed male found near Coles Australind and appears ti have been in some kind of accident. He's microchipped, but the details are not up to date and we can't find his current owner.
He needs medical attention, which we can't give without owner's consent, and he can't be sent to ranger because he's not well enough.
Poor Hank is stuck in limbo until we can communicate with his owners and actually help him.
Please help us find his humans!

Kitten found!
Little baby boy has been handed over to us after being found wondering by his lonesome... can you help us find his home? He's very young, isn't microchipped and might not have had any vaccinations yet. He has a healthy appetite and the cutest little playful paws πŸ₯°

Help me get home!
This cute little kitten was found on Chapple Drive and brought to us. Unfortunately, she has not yet been microchipped, so we need your help to get her home!
Please share this to help us get word out that this baby needs help going home.
To ensure she goes to her real home, her humans will be required to show proof of ownership (such as photos).

A little canary has found their way into our hospital after a good samaritan found the little birdie in their backyard.
Are you missing your canary?

❀️Thank you❀️

Hi everyone,

Sorry that we are a bit late in our thank you Thursday this week. June month is foster a cat month, and our intention was to thank all those amazing foster carers out there, not just Cat Haven’s but every foster carer who opens their home and heart to our companion animals, who for one reason or another, and through no fault of their own, find themselves in a shelter, which be a scary and depressing place, no matter how well we treat them.

But we had a crisis on our hands yesterday, we are full and we have 30 ringworm cats and 30 special need behaviour cats, in urgent need of foster care. So our focus was on getting them out- we are so close to capacity, and they need TLC in a home environment. But it has worked out really well that we left this post for a day- because we can now thank all of those new carers who joined the ranks of our existing foster carers yesterday. So whilst this is Friday, we want to extend our Thank you Thursday to all of you who do the hard yards in fostering 24/7. You are all truly angels doing this life saving work. For anyone interested in fostering please come down to Cat haven and fill one out in person or fill out the foster application here and the team will book you in.

Cats just like Rutger here will be eternally greatful for you giving them the time to blossom.

While cats love to sleep, it’s also important that they get plenty of exercise to stay healthy.

Cats who live indoors often require encouragement to remain active. Luckily, getting your indoor cat to exercise is as simple as putting aside 10-15 minutes in your day and grabbing a few favourite toys. Toys that mimic birds or insects, and encourage cats to pounce and jump, are ideal.

Bond with your cat by playing with them each day, helping them keep in tip-top shape.

Mother nature seems to be in a pretty bad mood🌬 ⚑️🌧🌩
In this sort of mood, she will unlock gates, throw things around, remove roofs and fencing and anything else thats not secure, so best to keep your fur-babies inside where they are safe.

🌊🐢🌊

Tell your fur friends – sea hares are back in town.

The City has received several reports of sea hares washing up on Bunbury’s beaches.

Rangers have installed warning signs at dog exercise areas along the beach, advising beach users to be aware of the sea hares as they are poisonous to dogs.

The sea hares may be hard to spot if they have become discoloured or tangled with seaweed, and it appears many are hidden among seaweed at the moment – so please be extra vigilant.

It is a seasonal occurrence for sea hares to wash up at this time of year.

Should pet owners be concerned about their pet following a visit to the beach, it is recommended they seek assistance from a vet.

City staff will continue to monitor the beaches and remove warning signage when the sea hares are no longer in the area.

If you have a fluffy poodle-type dog, or a breed with a thick double coat, you’ve probably realised they need a lot of grooming!

While you can use a professional groomer to help keep your dog’s coat healthy and neat, regular brushing and washing (when needed) at home is also a good idea and will allow your dog to get used to the grooming process.
