Well it's that time of the year again and we have already seen a lot of snakes out on the roads 😱 so I enrolled my dogs into snake avoidance classes.
Today Vladimir and Gwenivere completed their training with great results. I have Leonidas booked in for his training session in a few more weeks.
Living on a rural property I have always feared an encounter between my dogs and a snake; so I found out through my veterinarian about animal Arks training!
I highly recommend this to dog owners as it may just be this training that can save your dog's life.
Classes book out extremely fast; but have a browse on their website and you may just find something available near you this summer 😊

Just want to apologise in advance to customers that I've had to cancel over the next few weeks. I've burnt myself out big time working too much and really need to reduce my working hours to try reboot 🥴
Sorry to everyone this inconveniences, but working with dogs while being so exhausted can be dangerous; considering I work with sharp equipment etc.
Thankyou for your patience, I am just many years overdue for taking some time to myself and it's taking its toll🙊
I'm sure I'll be fine soon enough 😊

Wishing all my customers a wonderful Christmas and New year!!
Thankyou all for your amazing continued support through 2022 ❤️ I got hit with a bad flu for my last working day of the year so I'm terribly sorry for those who missed out on their Christmas groom! It was a terribly inconvenient time to get sick but I guess we all know how that felt with the covid epidemic for the last 3 years 🙊
I'm hoping to do up my diary at some stage between Christmas and New year but if I miss contacting you please message and I'll endeavour to organise your bookings asap!

Every time I look at my diary I think; where has the year gone!?
So as every year before, appointments are booking out fast coming up to Christmas. So if you would like an appointment message asap 😊 if I have missed a reply please just message again as I don't intentionally forget. Life gets a bit hectic and Leonidas' recovery has been taking up a lot of my thoughts 🙊 on the plus side I am back to full time work now he is in a more stable condition 🤩

Just a post to advise all my customers that appointments may be a bit hit and miss for a little while. My dear Leonidas has just had a hip replacement due to an accident where he fractured his hip 😢
This means I will be caring for him for 3 months and I'll be adjusting my schedule to times when I can swap care duties with my husband. The first couple of weeks are crucial to be fully supervised and then I'll be able to jump out every couple of hours to do some grooms 😊
So thankyou in advance for your patience, I definitely endeavour to do as much grooming in the time I can spare ✂️🐩

Wishing everyone a safe and happy festive season! I'm late on the Christmas wishes this year, but I just want to thank all of you for your kindness and patience with me this year 🥰
This is the first year I haven't been a mobile groomer in 7 years! It has been a change I've been striving towards for a while to make a better work/life balance and to be kinder on my personal health.
And so far so good! I have had such an amazing response on this change, especially considering I was concerned I would lose lots of customers. But even after opening my books up for just a couple of months at the start; my little salon has just been so incredibly busy I had to stop taking on new customers all over again!
So thankyou thankyou thankyou 🤩 looking forward to seeing you all and your gorgeous fluffies in the new year 🐩🐕

I hear there has been some confusion about my business. I am NOT selling my grooming business 🤣
However I have found someone amazing to take over the dog coat side of things! I will be very happy to introduce you all to her once she is set up and ready to take orders. I am so excited to be handing the reins over to someone creative and so very kind ❤
Also I thank you all for your patience recently. I have decided to cut my work hours down and will no longer be grooming on Wednesdays 😊
This is the first time in my working life I have ever slowed down! I am very excited to make myself a better work/life balance to ensure continuous health physically and mentally.
This of course means that bookings will be less available sooner and I will be keeping my regulars booked in on a regular schedule to ensure they do not miss out! If you are a regular and we have not discussed this please contact me and we will book you for the rest of the year.

I've decided I will have to stop taking new customers for the next 2/3 months as my diary is always so incredibly full! I have so many regular and existing customers that I am struggling to find time for everyone.
If you are interested in appointments for the future I'll be putting together a list of people to contact if any spots come up for future new customers.

I often hear of people being misinformed to not clip their puppy until they are a year old.
This is a Myth!
Getting your puppy used to grooming from a young age is incredibly important! Brushing and bathing at home is a good way to practice patience with them, and then exposure to the noise of clippers and nail trimmers with a professional.
Taking your pup to an experienced groomer will help get your puppy used to grooming.
Giving your dog a hair cut also doesn't mean it has to be shaved off! On a well maintained coat, anything is achievable ❤
Little Jasper had his first hair cut but we wanted to keep as much of that puppy fluff as possible! Now he looks like a plush toy 🥰
