🖤❤️ Is your bunny up to date with their vaccination?❤️🖤
🦠 Calicivirus is coming 🦠

🐰 With a change of weather comes an increased risk of the transmission of calicivirus. Calicivirus is deadly and the best protection you can give your bunny is annual vaccination, here are some other ways to help protect your pets.

🪣 Clean gutters, inspect ponds and water tanks, empty containers and pots collecting water around the home- stagnant water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
🌿 Plant insect repelling plants around the home- Basil, lavendar, rosemary, citronella and lemon balm are all good choices.
🚪 Keep some F10 veterinary disinfectant by the door to spray with when you’ve been somewhere wild rabbits live (any bushland, including coastal).
👟 Take your shoes off outside, or spray with F10.
🪟 Replace damaged flyscreens or repair small holes- sticky patches are inexpensive and available from Bunnings.
🐇 House rabbits indoors preferably, if your rabbits must be outside their enclosure should be insect-proof.
🐰 New rabbits coming into the home must be quarantined for 10-14 days.

Our little business has been super quiet this month! But it’s been the opposite within our little furfamily, as this month we’ve had two out of four furbabies with birthdays 😭 why do they have to grow up so fast?! …& also Furdad’s birthday but let’s be honest… we always do more for the babies haha!! 😜🤷‍♀️😂

⚠️*Trigger Warning*⚠️

I cried while reading this 😔😭 my heart breaks for these poor bunnies and knowing how many more are probably out there getting the same treatment all over the globe!! People really don’t understand how incredible these little beings can be!! They have the biggest hearts and massive personalities if they are given the chance to show it and it’s so so heartbreaking to see so many suffering, understood & poorly treated!

One of my favourite things about running our lil business is seeing how incredibly loved and well cared for the bunnies are that come to stay here and how happy they are! Some of our bunny guest have been rescued and you can just tell they are so grateful and thankful and they really truely show it!

I wish that all buns could be as well loved 😔

You can even play some bunny games on the pet Switch console or Xbox provided 😉😂

July has been our busiest month since we started Bunny Luxury Stays 😍✨
It was filled with so many bunny kisses, cuddles & cuteness! Everybun has their own unique & truely amazing personalities and we love getting to see their little characters shine through during their stay! The buns are always so enjoyable to watch & be around and it makes us so happy to seem them comfortable, relaxed & happy while in our care 🥰
It’s also so wonderful to see so many well loved and cared for bunnies and meet their incredible bunpawrents who want nothing but the best for their beautiful buns, just like we do! You’re all amazing!! 😍✨🥰

Did you know we offer supervised outdoor time? We have it sectioned off from the gardens so that the buns can only be on the grass & the concrete under the patio & we set up tunnels, hidey spots and things for them to play in too although they generally just love doing zoomies & binkies on the grass 😍 We only provide this service if: 1. It has been stated by you that you’re bunnies would enjoy some outdoor time while in our care 2. The Calicivirus hasn’t recently been released in our area 😞 3. You’ve supplied proof that your bun is up to date on their vaccinations. 4. And of course when it’s not too hot!! 🐰💕

When you’re too cute not to share with so the bunny sitting lady shares a slice of her banana with you & now your booty can’t stop twitching from happiness 🐰🍌😍

I hand fed Earl Grey a little bit of dragonfruit & he LOVED it & looked soooo cute while eating it!! Don’t worry, I helped him wipe his little mouth so he didn’t look like he was wearing lipstick afterwards 😂 His tiny little tongue at the end licking his lips is so adorable!! 😍😍😍
