Jumping for joy because classes resume tonight!

We hope everyone has had a wonderful break!

We have the following classes starting tonight, if you are unsure of what class you are in please let us know.

Puppy/basic pet manners: 5:30pm to 6:15pm

Beginner agility: 6:15pm to 7pm

Intermediate agility: 5:30pm to 7pm

Advanced/trialing class: 7pm to 8pm

Bundaberg dog Sports classes resume on Tuesday the 28th of January. For all those new to our classes and wishing to attend please contact Barb on 0427523745. Numbers in both puppy/ dog pet manners and intro to agility will be capped and the need for an additional class to be determined. Many thanks, and we look forward to seeing all new to the club then. Barb is happy to talk to you should you have any questions. Please remember that all puppies/dogs need to be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination required first night.

We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday period 🎄🎅🏻

Our club has had a very successful year, none of this could have been done without the assistance of all our members, from teaching & guiding each other, to setting up/packing down courses, assisting at agro trend and everything else in between!

We can’t wait to see everyone back next year for another enjoyable year with our dogs 🐶

What a wonderful bunch of dogs & humans! 🎄💕

Last night we celebrated the year at our annual Christmas party, the night was full of games, lots of laughs, lots of presents & ended with a lovely dinner with everyone!

🎄✨ Pageant of Lights 2024 ✨🎄

We had a wonderful group of dogs representing our club in the parade on Thursday night! It was very loud & so many things going on but the dogs all did great!

With help from many people we ended up with a lovely float with our wonderful new banners, a special thanks to A Touch of Paradise Landscaping and Construction for helping massively including providing the float!

We will see everyone on Tuesday for a fun night of games at our Christmas party!

🎅🏻Bundaberg Dog Sports Christmas party, tonight is your LAST NIGHT to rsvp! 🎄

It’s almost Christmas party time! If you are a current paying member you are invited! It is on the 10th of December at 6pm held at our normal training grounds. Which is Tuesday next week!

The night will include:
- Secret santa
- Dinner for the humans
- Games
- Best dressed dog competition

What you need to bring:
- 1 x Wrapped dog gift under $10 per dog you bring. Eg you bring 2 dogs so you bring 2 gifts
- A plate to share pre arranged at the sign in table
- Yourself & your dog in their Christmas outfit!

If you are going to attend our Christmas party please let us know by signing in on the sign in table on Tuesday night. Tonight is your last night to rscp

Membership renewal & updated vaccine certificates due now!

Please remember to bring your filled out membership form along with your up to date vaccine certificate.

If you don’t have a form please see Brooke or Barb and we will give you one.

There has been a slight change to the yearly membership fees, see below:
Single membership $30
Family/multiple dog membership: $35
Training fees will remain: $6 a night for beginners and advance agility classes

Please hand your paperwork into Brooke or Barb, we will check vaccine certificates at this time.

A big thank you to everyone who helped us over the last few days at Agrotrend, between helping with donuts, setting/packing up, everyone who offered to help and everyone who came along to show what our wonderful dogs can do!

‼️ AGROTREND INFORMATION & HELP NEEDED‼️

We will be running an agility demonstration at agrotrend on September 20th & 21st.

As well as the demonstration we are running the donut stand, this requires a minimum of 3 people (ideally 4) at the stall at all times

We still need help! We need help from 11am to 3pm Friday and we still need help to fill all the shifts on Saturday 9-3pm!

You don’t need to be at the stall all day, even 1-2hrs helps! But we really need everyone to help!

This is an amazing opportunity to raise money for our club as well as have some fun with our dogs! Events like these help us to purchase new equipment and keep our training fees low.

If you are able to help as well please let us know asap!

Did you know that Agrotrend is managed by the Bundaberg Field Day Society? A not for profit group that donate any proceeds back into the Bundaberg community and Rotary projects. Your support as an exhibitor or visitor is important to us and does make a difference.

Check out some of our amazing club members at Border Collie Nationals!

Franklin & Moose with their owners Brooke & Gabby spent 3 days over the weekend competing at border collie nationals! It was a long hot few days but both dogs did well.

💫Franklin came home with the following results;
Intermediate tricks - qualified 75.8/80
Jumping novice - qualified & 2nd out of 39 dogs & got his title 🎉
Novice gamblers - qualified & 8th out of 37 dogs
Novice agility - NQ & 9th out of 29 dogs
Rally-O advance - qualified

💫Moose who is only young competed in tricks and rally, he successfully passed his trick round and qualified! Rally was a little too much for him but he tried hard especially in the heat and busy environment for such a young dog.

Although we don’t offer Rally & tricks we still enjoy supporting & are very proud of our members in their chosen sport!

We have many members competing again over the next few weekends, we can’t wait to share their results!

Reminder there is no beginner or pet manners classes tonight or next Tuesday. It will resume 3rd of September

Advance agility is still going ahead.

Below you will find a list of upcoming dates, these dates are for some upcoming cancelled classes and an upcoming demonstration for all levels.

🐶 20th of August - 5:30pm pet manners class & 6:15 beginners agility - cancelled (advance agility running as normal)

🐶 27th of August - 5:30pm pet manners class & 6:15 beginners agility - cancelled (advance agility running as normal)

🐶 17th of September - all training cancelled for all classes

🐶 20th & 21st of September - agrotrend demonstration - more details & time to come

AGROTREND INFORMATION
