What a stunning evening with the fog rolling in!

We have had stunning weather for our Pony Camp ☀️ The past few days we have had a couple of full days of learning packed horse riding camp. The first day was all about Dressage and learning how to prepare for riding a dressage test including tack up and what is involved in caring for a horse. On the second day, it was all about show jumping in the morning in two lessons we used our dressage skills to help with riding better lines and approaching jumps with a better seat. At lunch the girls got to learn what their horses normal vital signs are- listening for heart rate, breath rate, temperature, capillary refill etc.
for the afternoon we learnt to be prepared for falling off followed by a ba****ck lesson and putting our pony’s back in to their paddocks - well cared for 🥰🐎
We always have small groups in our camps to ensure for a better learning experience.

This is Kaylee on Bolt.

Now that Kaylee’s seat is much more independent, she is starting to learn how to soften the horse and hold a contact to be able to step up to the next level.
Kaylee has moved from private beginner level lessons on the lunge to riding on her own in the dressage arena, to group lessons and now back to private lessons to continue her process of progression.

A great way to boosting her skills has also been taking part in several of our holiday camps, focusing on ground work horsemanship skills, horse care and riding lessons.

It is Kaylee’s dream to have her own horse one day and her first job will be working for me at the barn 🥰

Introducing our new Dressage Coach,

Daisy Fielding

Daisy grew up in Queensland where she began riding as a young girl. She found a love of dressage early on and hasn't looked back. She has experience handling, caring for, and training horses of all sizes, ages and temperaments.

She has competed from Preliminary to FEI, at a local, state, national and international competitions.
She trained extensively with and worked for Nicole Tough, a top dressage stable in QLD. She's also trained with Matthew Dowesly and Brett Parbery.

Daisy has experience teaching novice through to amature riders, working with client horses and re-training horses. She has a passion for helping both horse and rider to explore their full potential.

During the week Daisy will be available for lesson bookings starting at beginner level and up - please enquire to make a booking.

Now that Diva and Olive have become a lovely team the jumping journey can begin.
Olive wasn’t always the most confident rider and horse handler but now that she has established a solid seat and great ground work skills she is able to trust in her self and the confidence can strive.

This is Ted during his remedial massage today.
Here you can see the endorphins being released which allows Ted to feel relaxed through out, the sleepy eyes, yawning and the muscle softening shows me that his muscle has released.

We like to massage our horses before workout, especially when coming in to work.

We will be offering some one day summer holiday boot camps. Run by Helga Riedemann Equestrian

Small groups of 4 kids to ensure a better learning experience.

We can provide the horse or bring your own.

8am to 5pm
2x riding lessons, 1 ground work lesson, lots of theory throughout the day as well as general stable chores and how to look after your horse lesson.

Advanced groups will be learn about horse first aid and how to ride a dressage test.

Please enquire within.

If you are an adult rider and are interested in a full day horsemanship boot camp with 2 riding lessons and 2 ground work lessons in a small group please enquire. Could also do two half days.
