UPDATE DAY 4: are we even writing this! We are burnt to a crisp after spending 9 hours looking for Baci starting at 5,then 4 very promising sightings from 6.20am - 7.00am along Geographe Bay Rd, Grove St and Peppermint Drive. Thankfully we have had several positive sightings as we were starting to lose hope! It is now confirmed he is here alive and well. Now to find him - calmly and gently. He is in flight/fear mode running very fast from all reports. This morning till late we searched from the township through to the sighted area all the way down Geographe Bay Rd to Quindalup dog beach and back again. We walked, drove and rode with dear friends travelling from Bussleton and beyond to assist - cheers Mike, Kate, Dana and community volunteers! Baci has all the love! A scent station is now set in a special spot which I came across today. We can only hope Baci sits here safe and sound for the night...we will trek out again shortly and follow his morning routine, waking early tomorrow, hoping to see his movements. We thank absolutely everyone for your likes, comments, thoughts, suggestions, prayers, and shares. Again can we be so bold to ask if you see Baci to contact us immediately, photograph him, describe him, video him, and approach him gently at ground level. Pls do not loudly call his name or whistle as he is already freaked out! Pls pls pls continue to share these posts - people power is the key to bringing our beloved BACI home. Attached are few images featuring Baci's size, collar and something cute!
