Coming into the Bushfire season, Please have a think if you can put yourself forward to help and contact the team at State Emergency Service.

Good morning all! A spontaneous volunteer is an amazing person who at the drop of a hat feels the need to help! And we loves it...... however this bushfire season we are putting together a register of people willing to take animals into their home if evacuation is issued.

Statistics show people are less prone to leaving early if they have animals at their home who are not permitted in an evacuation centre (registered assistance animals are always accepted)

FREE Possum Avoidance training

As part of GeoCatch's Pets Away, Possums Play program, this workshop will equip you with the tools to manage your dog's behavior around wildlife, ensuring both your pets and local possums can coexist peacefully.

Asher Lindberg from Geo Bay Dog Training will guide you through practical possum avoidance techniques, helping your dog understand boundaries, reducing stress for both you and the local wildlife. Learn how to prevent fence-jumping, excessive barking, and aggressive behavior towards possums.

This event aims to raise awareness about living with the critically endangered Western Ringtail Possum, a species native to the South West of Western Australia. Due to habitat loss, predation, and other threats, their population has drastically declined, making it more important than ever to protect these unique marsupials. By teaching your dog possum avoidance techniques, you're not only improving your dog's behavior but also contributing to the conservation of this fragile species.

Join us for an informative and hands-on session that will not only help protect native wildlife but also improve your dog's behavior and your peace of mind.

🙏🙏🙏for the life of the little dog that received the blood for a speedy recovery. ❤️

We never know when our own dogs may need a blood transfusion so please consider adding your hounds name to our register to save others.
They really recover very quickly.

Lovely Ruby had to visit Dr Nat last week with a sore eye. She was abit eager first thing in the morning to play with her cat siblings, Dr Nat recommended some doggy goggles and Ruby’s owner found the perfect pair!

We had to share this photo of Ruby in her goggles, she looks so cute and is now ready to play and be safe from kitty claws! 🐶❤️🐱
