Lovely Ruby had to visit Dr Nat last week with a sore eye. She was abit eager first thing in the morning to play with her cat siblings, Dr Nat recommended some doggy goggles and Ruby’s owner found the perfect pair!

We had to share this photo of Ruby in her goggles, she looks so cute and is now ready to play and be safe from kitty claws! 🐶❤️🐱

We had a very cute patient on Friday a young Joey and it's carer came into the surgery to have her tail checked as it was sitting at an angle. She had been rescued from fires earlier on this year and has come a long way as she was very young with eyes closed when rescued. 🦘

Appreciation post and a massive thank you to Katie, what a sweet little girl and to her foster parents for rushing down late last Sunday night to donate blood, This blood donation saved our patients life. Thank you Jacky for always answering our calls and getting a donar organised so quickly. We are so so grateful to you all! ❤️

Pets of Older Persons (POOPS) is an established volunteer organisation offering free dog walking, pet care and friendly companionship to the elderly and infirm of the Busselton community. Over the last 4 1/2 years, we've established strong links with Heritage Vet Hospital, who have provided discounted services to POOPS clients when volunteers have identified issues needing treatment. These services have alleviated painful conditions for beloved pets which owners may have missed or been unable to afford to treat. POOPS is asking the community to help us continue to deliver discounted vet services, by voting for us in the 'You Choose' grants. While we always encourage clients to contribute to the fees, additional funding allows us to ensure that no animal is suffering unnecessarily. Busselton is a Caring Community. This is reflected by the previous round of the 'You Choose' grants, which funded the bright red Team POOPS t-shirts which are a familiar sight in our community as volunteers walk dogs.

Another grey hound was called on to give blood at our vets, today it was Moons first time. What an amazing girl she was she took it all in her stride.
Not even in a rush to get of the table.
That’s the 7th hound in the last couple of months that has been called upon to help save another dogs life.
Well done Moon. ❤️
