Another term of lessons done. I am not teaching regular lessons on the holidays but if you are around and want to have a lesson message me and I’ll see what I can fit in. See you all next term which may have to look a bit different as I’ll be back teaching in the classroom as well. Saturdays will be as normal but afternoons will be refined. Please message me if you are keen for lessons in term 3 and I will let you know my availability. Thanks everyone and happy holidays!

I have Andrea Smith saddle fitter coming on Monday June 17th. Please comment here if you are interested in getting her to check or fit a saddle. She will travel to you and is highly recommended.

Big day at Acheron Hill Horse Riding yesterday, one horse dropped of to be broken in, 2 horses clipped, 8 for the farrier and 2 lessons taught. All with my trusty apprentice in tow. 🤪😅🥱

As the saying goes save the best for last. And I know your not supposed to have favourites but this horse has a place in my heart that can be filled by no other. Bj is that horse of a lifetime for me , he has won more ribbons, rugs and prizes than I can count never liking to touch a rail in the show jumping ring, wowing the judges in dressage and carrying me safely around every xc never once being eliminated. But beyond the blue ribbons he is a horse I can trust, a horse I have put all 3 of my kids on before they can walk, has seen my through 3 pregnancies all of which I rode because I had him to look after me. I could go on all day about this horse but words would still fail me in describing the heart this beautiful sole has. Bj you really are one of a kind and have shaped me as a rider and for this I will be forever grateful.

Dancer has been a dream to breed and own, due to no fault of her own (lack of time) she has done very little but in everything we do with her she takes in all in her stride. From the scared sassy little foal she was she is now the first to the gate for a pat. He is a s***k, at only 7 years old he is only occasionally being used in the riding school with many clinics, lessons, competitions and outings still to get under his belt Comet is a super star in the making. His movement is to die for and his extra cheeky personality make him great fun to ride. Watch this space we have big things to come in the future with this little home bred black and white pocket Rocket 🚀
