I am a IMDT Qualified Dog trainer and have a Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training. I started dog training at a young age helping my mum train our german shepherds over the years. I dove more into dog training when I got my first pet retail job and got my first dog, Alexis a working line german shepherd. I soon took interest with her in multiple different training opportunities from obed

ience, tricks, agility and more. I created Impeccable K9 to help owners build a stronger bond with their fur babies and to help guide owners with training their fur babies into well mannered dogs. Impeccable K9 provides owners with multiple services available to them to be able to give the best training opportunities to their fur babies, from puppy Pre-school, one on one consults for individual tailored training, group classes both in person and via zoom giving clients with dogs that are nervous, or reactive to be in a class an opportunity to join in on the training fun!

Update!

Due to weather! Drop in class for today at 2pm is cancelled! Doggie high and level one is pushed back a fortnight! I will send out confirmation emails shortly! I will also post week 2 / 4 into your groups so you guys can get a start on the behaviours!

Reggie had a great one on one today! We did a dog assessment to see how he reacts around other dogs and even got to say hello to Delta! He got a little boisterous but it is something we can work on polite greetings! We also did an off lead recall and some loose leash walking! He is an exceptional Rottweiler and I can’t wait to see him progress with his training!

Friday Miss Bonnie had a one on one session to work on handler confidence and puppy confidence around new people and dogs. Bonnie is unsure of new people and dogs so we are going right back to basics to build a positive association towards them! To say the least she crushed her first session with Delta and was starting to read her body language a lot better! We also practiced some loose leash walking foundations as well! Bonnie is very smart and picks up things very quickly I can’t wait to see her progress! I will be seeing her again at Level 1 on Sunday for her group class 🐶🐾

Friday I had the pleasure of meeting a foster dog called Mickey! He is a little character and once he warms up to you is the sweetest little boy! I am working with Mickey to help with resource guarding, and some reactivity towards people! He does have some big feelings! He will be looking for his forever home soon! Socialisation is very important for a puppy! It isn’t just playing with other dogs or saying hello to everyone they meet! It is teach our dogs how to appropriately greet others, be around each other in a calm way and responding to their owners! Socialisation isn’t just about people or dogs either it is about sounds, novel objects, environments, different scenarios etc! To learn more about socialisation please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask!

Amazing recall practice today! Challenges were other dogs, new environment, people, birds and more! Everyone absolutely crushed it! In the videos you can’t see but everyone was pretty close to each other and still smashed it 🐶🐾
