EWA HORSE OF THE YEAR 2022

The weekend just gone saw some incredible results for ourselves, but what was even more thrilling was the amazing acheivements of some exceptional Thorne Park stock. A show that is unlikely to be repeated anytime soon.

Myself and Mum wish to congratulate some wonderful owners on their results and for giving our babies the very homes that a breeder could wish for. And for us, being there on the day and watching you all perform was an absolute thrill. Thankyou for loving these boys so much!!! Thorne Park ponies had an amazing weekend with two ponies picking up National and Grand National tickets. Both ponies are out of our exceptional small pony mare Blandford Dancing Queen (Westhill Standing Ovation IMP x Nalinga Catnip). With Dancing Queen back in foal for a 2021 foal, this is a very exciting time for the stud.

Thorne Park has been blessed with two exceptional fillies in the 2019 breeding season. Both are by the stunning Llanarth Top Cat IMP UK owned by Paul and Kerry Dunstan of Malibu Park.

The first born was out of our exceptional TB mare Mireille. This mare has produced 5 exceptional Galloway foals for us (TP Maybelline, Mietta, Manhattan, Monte Carlo and Magnolia). This filly will be TP Madison Avenue aka Whiskers

The second filly is a long awaited foal out of our divine mare Diptford Amazing Grace IMP. And this little girl certainly has been worth the wait. Jacey was born at Malibu Park and will travel to WA later this year. She wouldn't be here without the generosity and care taken by Paul and Kerry and we are forever grateful!!! This is Graces 6th filly in a row, but only her 3rd surviving foal.

Its Official!!!!

Diptford Amazing Grace is in foal to the exceptional Llanarth Top Cat. Due early December 2019

To those who may not be aware, Gracie is now residing at the spectacular Malibu Park Stud in Victoria and we simply can not thank Paul and Kerry Dunstan enough for all they have done and acheived for us. We can't wait to see what this cross will produce.

That is two incredibly exciting and very different Top Cat babies on the way for Thorne Park. Galloway and Large Pony. And Im sure both will be amazing!!!

An opportunity like this comes along so rarely, but we have had to make this hard decision based on time or lack of. We have another going pony in her height and cant do them both. This exceptional mare deserve to right to shine. With the potential to be an outstanding broodmare.

Macy is a 5 year chestnut RP mare with some of the most beautiful bloodlines the world has to offer. Her sire has been the leading sire in the UK for many years and her dam was a UK HOYS, Royal International and BSPS Summer Champs Winner.

Macy has been a Royal winner in hand herself, is now broken in and ready to embark on what should be a very decorated career. She is quiet and has been ridden by a 10 year old. Still green but very trainable. She is a stunning mover, beautiful head and front, coupled up and great hindquarter. Very easy to condition and very sweet to handle.

She was very quickly measured this year at 12.2 1/2"hh but should easily make 12.2hh with a bit more time taken.

An exciting opportunity for anyone seeking the absolute best.
