Dear equine community, have you ever needed help with taking care of your equine family members while you are away? Or perhaps you need an extra pair of hands to give them some TLC throughout the week.
In the past I ran a horse care business servicing clients located within the Byron Shire/Northern Rivers. I am back in the area and wanted to offer my services to those who may be interested and need a hand with their babies 🐴💙
I have years of experience with horses under my belt, have successfully owned three of my own horses and my family has had four ponies over the years. I have also done a live in horse job in VIC at a horse stud where I handled colts, walked broodmares with their foals for vet appointments, put horses on and off a walker, groomed up to three horses at a time, cleaned stalls, harrowed and watered the arena, attended a broodmare service, attended a show where I groomed and tacked three competing horses in the rain and did morning/afternoon feed ups for up to 20 of the studs and their clients agisted horses. I am also experienced with and able to deal with things common in this area such as Qld itch, rainscald and more! I always go above and beyond with the animals in my care and love them as if they are my own, their wellbeing, safety and comfort is my first and foremost priority.
My equine services are as listed:
[ ] Horse feeding
[ ] House sitting/horse sitting
[ ] Rugging/Unrugging
[ ] Grooming (brushing, hooves, bathing)
[ ] Medication/ointment/spray administering
[ ] Weeding/Poo maintenance
[ ] Holding horses for farrier/vet/other services
[ ] Lunging/in hand work with horses
I also have experience in pet sitting and have completed a couple of house sits. One was based in VIC and one locally. In these sits I looked after dogs, cats, rats and more for up to three months at a time.
My pet services are as listed:
[ ] Pet sitting (overnight stays/long term stays)
[ ] Feeding
[ ] Water top ups/cleaning
[ ] Grooming (brushing/bathing)
[ ] Walking
[ ] Cage cleans
